This fridge was purchased for use a drinks fridge in the garage. This point was made very clear to the staff members at time of purchase. The issues I found so far include- the top glass shelf inside does not support the weight of a full shelf of beer/cider stubbies. The shelf has already fallen off the side wall fixings once and luckily the bottles did not fall out on the floor and break.- the fridge does not handle the heat well, which was another question specifically asked at the time of purchase. Already need to turn up to almost Max to keep bottles cold, so wonder what will happens as the fridge gets older- the freezer storage is quite shallow and the door is not suitable for laying down bottles, like Vodka. Bought this fridge early January 2022.Had an intermittent fault and kept turning off for a few days and then turning back on. Lost so much food. Hisense doesn’t do anything re intermittent faults. Only when it actuates stays off.They ended up replacing a part in june 2022 and had to ‘reset’ the frdge. Unplug for the 30 mins.The intermittent fault has started again now and noone cares. Joyce Mayne can’t do anything, the refer me to Hisense and Hisense don’t care.Also, if the fridge turns back on hisense won’t reimburse your food shopping. Also, you need to keep receipts for this ticking time bomb of a fridge as it could turn off at any time.I have lodged a complaint with the ACCC. Let’s see what happens.Just don’t buy it!

Purchased it only a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully it lasts at least 20 years like other fridges. Right size for my little villa width & height. However, it only came with one tray for ice cubes, and no egg tray. I also purchased an additional warranty from Good Guys, but have no paperwork to prove for this. I like friends & people to do their research & find out about goods for themselves. Thus far fridge running.

We had the fridge for less than 2 weeks and the door seal came loose. We pushed it back into place, and it stays in place most of the time, but we've had to push it back in again a couple of times. Now we monitor the seal when we open & close the fridge to make sure its still in place. I rang Hisense to complain under the warranty. The queue for service was an hour but, fortunately, they offered a call back option. When they did call back, I was told that no repair tradie would come to fix the fridge. Instead, they would mail out a new door seal that the customer (us) would have to install. We haven't got it yet, so I can't say whether that'll solve the problem.When the seal is in place, the fridge works well. I'm trying different size containers, but still it seems that I need to make sure I use that milk quickly! Even UHT milk started to go off quickly!! Bread goes mouldy when before it would last. Deli/heat in the microwave meals also go off before the use by date. And fruit and veg also seem to not last as long in the crisper.I thought it was because I had too much in the fridge ie Christmas, but no, things are still going off. And also, I've had fridges before where I could easily have that much in them with no problems, and in the cooler months, I also had similar amounts in this fridge and nothing went off. The temperature is on the high setting and the chill vents are kept clear. I've looked at various trouble shooting answers provided by Hisense and really, I reckon it's just that the fridge isn't great in the hot months (at least here in Australia) and that's all there is to it!The freezer remains good though - keeping everything nice and frozen, with quite a lot in there - meat, frozen meals, frozen veg.So yes, I think the fridge is doing the best that it can with how it's been built! But I am still paying it off (only way I could afford it) which isn't great, I'm having to throw out food (which I can't afford to do and also, what a waste!!!) and I would definately NOT recommend this fridge! Quite a turnaround from my first review, I know, but I did say in that review that "so far it was great".So I genuinely hope that this review is helpful to people. A fridge is a big purchase, and I feel you should be able to count on it doing what it's meant to do no matter if it's a budget fridge or not. There's enough stress in the world without being able to count on having fresh milk for your morning tea....
Perfect mid size fridge/freezer. First time used for grandsons 21st birthday beer & wine. Full fridge, everything was perfectly cold temperature, and quiet running motor. Was apprehensive buying unknown (to me) brand, but couldnt be happier. Better than previous well known brands Ive bought before.
A couple of good features such as pull-out tray and adjustable shelf height. But door shelves are only good for small things as edge is so low that bottles fall forward when door is opened. And door doesnt close on its own and theres no alarm when door is left open so we often come back later to find the door still ajar. If you want the more basic bells and whistles it might be worth looking at a slightly better brand.
We owned the size down from this and was an amazing, reliable great brand fridge/freezer. We decided to stay with this brand as our last one went for years. We relocated and were on a budget, this fridge definitely surprised us. Great height and depth of fridge. We love that there is more depth to the fridge, same width as our last one, but much deeper and can fit a heck more in. Love the large fruit/vege draw. And the glass shelving is really nice. Hisense is a great quality, low cost brand I'll definitely stick with for years to come. Very happy with our purchase!
Verry bad fridge ,things don't keep cold enough my milk has spoiled 2 times . There is no light in the freezer and no alarm to warn you the door is open . I have put a bottle of drink in the freezer all day and still didn't freeze, can't chill a bottle of drink in the fridge while the fridge and freezer are are turned to the highest degree , I wish I never bought the fridge and I wish I could return it. So far, a month on, it's a great fridge that works well, and is very quiet. Love the LED lighting inside.I had a problem at first with the fridge not being very cold inside. I read the manual and it said that I had to have at least 5cm gap between its sidewalls and the house walls. Ditto for the back of the fridge. I then moved the fridge to a location where it had more than 5 cm clearance on all sides, and it reached the expected coldness inside.
