What a bummer—sandals/clogs ripped and split in between the cutouts on the upper after only 3 months! Hoka used to be, when independently owned, a phenomenal brand and of high-quality. But since being bought and absorbed in corporate America (Levi’s/Dockers) the quality is gone down the gutter.Before the shoes broke and became unwearable, I wore them for three months. I am retired and spent a lot of time on the computer at home: so these recovery sandals/clogs only had moderate wear.Very disappointing!

The only issue I've experienced with these shoes is that the edges of the top housing can dig into the mid foot area as the wearer steps forward. For future versions, I think using a softer material for the housing would help address this and improve comfort. The shoes would likely benefit from a more rounded or padded edge design to prevent pressure points on the top of the foot. Overall these are great shoes but a softer housing material would enhance the user experience.

I am really pleased with the look, fit, and feel of these mules!! They are super comfortable and they made my plantar fascitis a thing of the past!! I plan on buying them in other colors too!! I even got a pair for a Co-worker who was having horrible heel pain. She's so relieved now!! Best to go up 1 size bigger than your usual size .

Super comfy shoe, I tried them on in person and I liked them a lot. However, I would suggest ordering from a different website. I placed my order and they sent the wrong size, and when they resent another pair to me, it was also the wrong size. The shoes were on sale at the time, but they ran out of my actual size after sending me the wrong pair twice, so I never got the shoe.
I’m love these mules! I have the Sorrels, Uggs and Adidas mules, these are my favorite by far. I like that they are have a well formed footbed and are not squishy like the Adidas and Uggs or as hard as the Sorrels at least for me. They are wide which I really like because I can wear them with thick socks.
I’ve struggled with footwear for a long time. I’m a former long distance runner and I have flat feet and ankle over pronation. It took forever to find a brand that works for me. I have tile in my home and my feet constantly feel like they’re slamming, so this recovery mule is perfect for being at home. It has a wide toe box so it doesn’t feel restrictive, lots of plush bounce, and the closed toe helps me from stubbing my toes. Only downside side is they slightly make noise with every step.
I purchased this item as I was recovering from plantar fasciitis and was traveling abroad for a planned vacation. I couldn't wear any of my existing shoes due to the inflammation I was suffering from. These mules were GOD SENT! I was able to slip my feet into them (recovery mules!) and was able to hobble through TSA / customs and wear them on vacation. I am forever grateful to these recovery mules and have no hesitation recommending them to anyone else who wants comfortable and "easy to wear" footwear.
This is a very comfortable sandal around the house. Please make sure to get it the same size as your athletic shoes. I usually wear a little smaller on sandals, but this one size runs the same as athletic shoes so it runs for a sandal, a little smaller. I initially ordered size 9 didn’t feel very good size 10 for female perfect it’s light and very cushy and supportive.
I ended up asking for a refund because the item that arrived in the store was the wrong size. It was too big. Apparently, someone made a mistake in labeling it as women's size in the website. There was actually no women's version of the Hoka Ora Recovery Mule, let alone smaller sizes that would fit me.
I like these wheat hoka slippers. Nice insert gives reasonable support for my always tired feet. I’m a walker and on my feet nonstop. I often change shoes just to keep feet from tiring. These are great
