I bought these for an upcoming trip to Montana. I have been wearing them around the house a bit and overall they are very comfortable. I do feel that the tongue is a bit stiff, and concerned that it might cause a blister to form once I put them to the true test....hopefully not, though!

Shoe provides a great grip for uneven terrains , however since I've been trying to break them down , it's a little hard for training since they are waterproof and my feet sweat if they can't breath . Still trying to figure it out though .In addition they're run wide causing some blisters. I might have to try different socks and tight them out

I have used Hoka Bondi for 2 years and had no issues. They are great shoes. I bought the Anacapa 2. The tread is great, the fit is accurate, and they feel great. But after 10 miles of easy hiking a hole has formed on the upper seam of the shoe (left side of ankle). The hole looks like the material is ripping & fraying. I have applied Fray Check to try and stop it.

Truly waterproof, very comfortable walking shoe. My only drawback is that there isn’t enough arch support for my foot. Needed to use my own orthotics in this shoe.
I always look for a thick forefoot when I’m looking for walking or hiking shoes. It’s not easy! I also needed a waterproof shoe with good grip and I have finally found the shoe. It was a bit worrying though because I’ve always heard Hoka shoes were narrow but I don’t find that to be the case with these shoes. They are perfect for my medium foot, which is on the wider side of medium than the narrow side. There is plenty of room in these shoes which is great for extended periods of walking or hiking. Comfortable right out of the box. Hurray! I do wish they came in a different color but at this point I need function over a color.
These are my go to everyday shoes for hiking, errands, walking, running. Glad these are waterproof. The proper size makes for comfy footwear. LLBean provided me with excellent customer service.
Love this shoe! Had tried the Anacapa Low GTX, first. Narrower toe box. Saw this Anacapa 2 GTX and love it. Bigger toe box and just more comfortable. Still went up a half size based on the other shoe and it's perfect.
I'm a city carrier for the Post Office and Hoka has been my go to brand for several years. I love that they offer goretex which is very important with my job. My Hoka's for work are normally mostly leather and these are not unfortunately. Also, my disappointment comes from these not being as comfortable as my other Hoka's. The heel is not as thick as normal which I think makes these less comfortable. They actually feel hard instead of the cushioning I'm used to. It's a lot of money, which I don't care to spend, but I just expected more. Still love Hoka's but not as happy with these.
Super grippy and comfy on first wear, no blisters thank god. Did a steep trail that had water running down it, zero water seeped through and did not slip even once on the slick rocks. Really appealing side silhouette and the coloring is rich.
I loved the look of these shoes out of the box, however they just aren't for me, sadly, I have returned them. I found them a little narrow and the tongue was too long, it actually rubbed against the bottom of my ankle constantly. They were really nice and light and I loved the colour.
