All the negative reviews here are spot on and I wish I had read them before going to Bunnings. I bought this hose for its claimed high kink resistance and because it is Australian Family Owned. Well Holman you should be ashamed of yourselves. You are an embarrassment to Australian Made. This is the worst hose ever made and it's claimed kink resistance is simply misleading. Even after several attempts to straighten it out it kinks everywhere. But that's not the worse issue. It's fittings cannot hold even the lightest water pressure. Absolute rubbish. I bought this hose because of its stated kink resistance. I've never had a hose that kinks as easily as this one. Its kink resistance is zero. The end fittings had to be replaced 1st use. The hose is a nightmare to use. Wish I had read the reviews first. I would give negative 5 stars.

I bought this 22Oct. Just before Christmas, it suddenly got a hole when I was watering our lawn. I went to Bunnings in Petone after Christmas to try and return it but I was refused to as the staff says it seemed to be punctured and did not have hole coming from inside. Now what is that Holman's 6 year guarantee for??? I only had this for two months. This product is too weak for home garden use! It cannot even stand lawn use. Do not buy. You will waste your money. Looks like this is only good for smooth surface and not for lawn/outdoor.

I would have rated it zero. It's not just bad, it's dangerous! Check out my photo showing how the hose is stretched and bulging at the snap-on connector. It's blown off the connector 3 times (I've cut off a piece of hose each time to have a fresh connection). Each time this hose blows off its connector I risk losing an eye. Bunnings need to do something. After all, they are the only hardware store in Perth (probably most cities in Australia). If you want to be a monopoly, you have to "own" that responsibility by selling safe products. This hose kinks constantly and is made of very thin plastic that collapses when the water pressure is removed. I'll have to replace it to ensure my own safety and that of my family. GoodCuts down on watering time because of the higher volume of water you can push through the larger hose.ConIt does kink a little bit and tens to kink in the same section. Minor issue.Water usage is much higher, so while you will cut down on the watering time you will use a lot more water!

Worst quality hose I've ever owned. The nylon/rubber is super thin, I'm doubtful its woven internally. I've had it less than 12 months and I have 3 connectors along it to repair bursts from nothing more than bubbling and popping from water pressure. It's got more kinks than deviot at an underground adult club. The hose is about 5m shorter than the day I bought it due to repairs. Don't waste your money. Stick to the better known brands.
I bought this a couple of months ago thinking it would be a standard type of entry level garden hose. Nothing could be further from the truth. It's not a Yardmate, it's an infuriating Yard devil. The hose is incredibly poor quality, thin and soft and designed as if it was meant to kink every couple of metres. It kinks even when it's properly rolled up on the hose reel, it kinks when you take a single step in any direction, it is hands down the worst hose made in the history of garden hoses. Bunnings should NOT be stocking this item, even as a budget hose.
The hose should not be sold. It spilt under normal household a number of times with around 6 weeks of purchase. Each time I shortened it and carried on. A year later its down to about 15 metres and continues to regularly split. Judging from other reviews i canāt understand why Bunning continue to support the brand. Do not waste your money
After buying many hoses for many taps I have around my property this is by far the worst.Junk plastic Conections all broke with a week so I replaced them all with Nylex Conections-The hose will not lay flat and kinks at every use. After a few short months the hose split so I cut out the damaged part. Yesterday was watering a garden bed and had to walk away to open a gate for visitors and not not realize that I had left the hose on and again it split and run water out for some 2 hours.I plan to take it back and buy a quality brand and never use Holman again.Bunnings please stop selling this junk.
