The Dripping Hose is a weeping line irrigation system for applying precise amounts of water to gardens. It is ideal for gentle and accurate watering of garden bed areas as the hose is designed to emit small droplets of water along its entire length. Multiple lengths can be connected together with standard 12mm hose end fittings and is best installed above or below mulch but not buried under the soil. By delivering even water application along it's length this dripper hose achieves substantial water savings while providing optimum watering conditions for plant roots e.g. slow and regular - just like rain.

Exactly what I needed to get the water to the roots of the plants and use less water in doing so

Three things ... one i wish we could bury it a bit, two i wish it "weeped" a bit more and three why, oh why does my dog loves to chew on this!

Bought this for my back garden, which is fence off from the dogs and thus difficult to get to (unless I walk all the way around the house through the garage). I tacked it down with a few irrigation pegs and covered with mulch. The weeper hose works really well and, with a tap timer, I can set and forget! :)

Have purchased 3x 30m Weeper hose and have been using it for 1.5months. I have them on different tap timer zones for my first attempt at a irrigation system. Make sure you have enough of them and do it in one go. As another reviewer has said, if you install a new section with barbs, the newer section will drip a lot more water compared to the old section.I highly recommend creating a grid with the hose using 3 way barbs. After about 2 weeks the weeping seems less priminent and becomes a drip on the bottom of the hose. Pin hole splits can start occuring after about 2 weeks so keep an eye on it.I have paired this with a Holman BX4 (Bluetooth) tap timer and the flow discs create a very high pitched whine on the green and blue discs. To avoid the whine i have tried a pressure reducer down to 300-400Kpa. I was only able to reduce it using the white disc. I was not able to turn the tap down as i need the water flow and pressure for a sprinkler on the same timer! If these get un-reliable towards the end of my first summer, i'll look at a proper poly hose setup next year.
Can leave this running for hours in the cool evenings on a very low flow rate and seeps into the soil, no run-off
I'm so happy with it, I leave it for a drip in 2 weeks, when I got home my watermelon grows big.
