Got gifted this for Christmas and assembled mid January. The shelves are not stable and the greenhouse blows over in the faintest of winds, destroying all plants in it. I tried protecting from wind by moving it against the house, against the fence etc. Tried weighting down the bottom with bricks and heavy water bottles but it still blows over and has now bent the connectors and tore the cover. Absolutely disgusted in the quality of this. Do not waste your money - better off throwing $100 in the trash

Husband purchased for my birthday present. After we spent the morning constructing the greenhouse went to put cover on and found many holes in the seams Bunnings offered to replace as long as we deconstructed it and packed it all back up and take into the store not happy with the service at all we were happy to take the cover back but they wouldn't just replace this

I bought one. After 18 months, some of the plastic joiners had broken, the metal poles had rusted through and the plastic cover had deteriorated, shedding plastic fragments everywhere. I complained to Holman and they replaced it with another. The same thing happened. I would not recommend this product as it will be only fit for landfill in 18 months.

This is the first Greenhouse I've ever got, so have nothing to compare. The kit is very easy to assemble. The only thing - I had to fix the shelfs using cable ties, otherwise they are easy to knock off.Cannot comment on the misting system. Assembly was good, but I don't have a hose on my balcony, so not going to use it.
I’ve had this for over a year and it’s been a great addition to my burgeoning plant addiction/hobby. It’s great for tropical plants; seems to let in a good amount of sun without anything frying, keeps things damp, and protects from wind and frost. The bad points are that the shelves are incredibly flimsy and if you put more than a few seedling trays or pots, they will bow. I’ve reinforced mine with some poles underneath. There’s also only the four shelves and only the top centre bar to hang anything. It can also get too damp inside if the cover is zipped up as there is no air filtration. I cut some slits in the sides but still ended up losing a number of plants to rot. As some other reviews mention, if you don’t secure the greenhouse down, it’s going to fly away. I cut some slits in the sides but still ended up losing a number of plants to rot. As some other reviews mention, if you don’t secure the greenhouse down, it’s going to fly away. It doesn’t come with anything like pegs and strong winds would rip those straight up anyway. I’ve anchored mine with wooden stakes driven about half a meter into the ground and zipped to each corner pole. After about a year and a half and two summers the cover is starting to disintegrate and shed plastic everywhere. It’s holding together due to the woven threads, but it’s no longer water proof or really protecting from the sun. It looks like a replacement is about $56 via special order.
I bought this greenhouse back in August because my forever growing addiction (and soon to be business) of succulents outgrew my windowsills. I was a tad iffy with the reviews; rips, blows away in the wind, etc… But I took the chance and was the best decision. It’s survived tornado like winds without having to be secured down but it’s probably heavy enough anyways carrying all those plants (pictured). I’m about to upgrade to the bigger greenhouse, same brand. It’s even had house mates (spiders and other bugs) come and go as they please. Can definitely recommend.
Looks good, but the actual shade plastic falls apart quickly. It was only 6 months old before the roof section had holes in it and 12 months before it all disintegrated. The frame lasted another 6 months before it began rusting badly. I wouldn't buy another one based on my experience with this product.
Purchased and constructed one week ago.Goes together easily and is a sturdy, if lightweight, construction. Shelves could probably be a heavier grade of mesh, but no problems so far.Others have had problems with wind damage, so advice is to peg down (angle the pegs) and weigh the bottom level down with pavers as an extra protection. I have done so and recent windy conditions didn't cause any damage or problems. So far so good - and I have a nice batch of lettuce sprouting and some tomatoes that I hope to see shoots from any day!
I bought this a few months ago and have had nothing but trouble. It was really easy to assemble, the poles interlock and the cover ties on. However the poles are light plastic and the shelving is flimsy and needs to be heavier. The shelves don’t fit properly onto the poles. Not very sturdy and wobbles once pots put onto shelves. Terrible if you live in a windy location. I pegged it down but the shelving still fell off and the cover tore. I ended up dismantling the greenhouse.
Does not handle the wind well at all. I assembled as per the instructions and used the loops on the outside to fasten the greenhouse to the ground. I actually tied it to a massive planter box on one side and the house on the other. On the first day the wind ripped the loops off from the plastic cover leaving massive holes on each corner (it was also the really windy day tress were blown over in Melbourne). Seedlings flew everywhere. Instead of returning the greenhouse I used the holes to tie the inner frame down and taped the holes back up. I used a ratchet hooked to the lower frame on one side, over the top and fasted on the other side. Since then it is solid, looks a little ghetto but it 100% stable, even with the hectic winds we've been having in the first week ... MoreDoes not handle the wind well at all. Basically, the fasteners on the outside are totally rubbish and it doesn't come with anything to secure it properly. But you can secure it if you try, and you have to really try. Shelves are fine, misting system is great. Its a $125 alternative to a $1000 greenhouse, worth it for the budget option.
