Brought this Hoover with high expectations. It arrived and after several attempts to fit the floor brush realised no way was it meant to fit. Contacted Hoover who gave me a number to ring- number not in service. Went online and sent an email and in all fairness did get a reply quickly. Sent photos of floor brush and they admit to the wrong brush being sent in the box. I was told I’d get an email 24hrs later to confirm correct brush would be sent. 1 week later nothing so I had to chase again. I’ve had a reply to say brush is out of stock and will be several weeks before I get one. So 4 weeks on I have a Hoover I cannot use still. Shocking service and shocking product. If I could give zero stars I would and certainly won’t be buying another Hoover product again

My previous Hoover broke, which was unfortunate because it had taken me along time to find it. This Hoover HPower 300 is the nearest to what I had with some advantages and some disadvantages. The pluses are it is lighter as a body, more powerful and with a longer cord and hose. There is an extension cord for hard to reach places. The canister detaches easily for rubbish disposal. There is one main cleaning head and a crevice tool. The main disadvantage for me is the cleaning head. Only one supplied as a multi-floor head. It has no brushes, which makes it not so effective in cleaning wooden floors with slight irregularities. Perhaps it will do a good job on flawlessly flat floors, which mine aren’t. This vacuum cleaner is brilliant. It is light and has a handle to carry around. It has a really long power cord and also a really long flexible hose so you can really clean a huge area without having to unplug it. The suction is amazing!! The dust cylinder takes loads of dirt and is very easy to empty. It has a little clip on the body of the vacuum to clip the flexible hose to so that when storing the vacuum the hose stands upright with the vacuum rather than lying all over the floor. It is excellent and I would highly recommend this vacuum - much better than a stick vacuum as it does not run out of power!!

Great little vacuum! Good value for the price. It's just what we need for when we visit Greece. I took off one star only because the hose is a little difficult to maneuver depending on the angle you need to take it to. Other than that, the suction is great, it's relatively quiet and a great buy!I recommend it hands down!
Previously I had a Henry but I wanted something smaller and easier to store away. Now I did consider a shark but as I only live in a small apartment I opted for this one which is a similar price to a Henry so not the cheapest.Big mistake the top part of the hoover is literally made out of thin plastic, which continuously falls out of the pole attachment. The suction is awful! I don't even have carpets just wooden floor and I generally sweep before I hoover.The amount of effort it takes to hoover under the cushions on the chairs is a nightmare and to top it off the pole is ridiculously short. Avoid!
This vacuum cleaner is a good price and is quite lightweight. The long lead makes it possible to clean one floor of the house from a central plug. The long hose is a little bulky but makes it easy to clean stairs. The suction is powerful- in order to move the head backwards and forwards on a short pile carpet and vinyl floor I've found it necessary to move the vent towards the long pile side and open the vent in the pipe a little. The main brush is flat enough to clean under furniture. Tough there are illustrated instructions it would be good to have them accompanied by written ones. The cleaner doesn't pick up all of the smaller pieces of fluff and only time will tell how robust it is. However, it is easy to empty, good value and I am pleased with it so far.

I'm really impresed with this little but POWERFUL Hoover- WOW. I'm amazed! It's very light but suction is so strong - which positively surprised me. Very easy to maneuver, addition hose make hoovering easier. Really like HEPA filter, which is must have as my son is allergic to dust. Benefit from small precision brush- useful to clean difficult acces space (corners, under fridge etc). Replacement parts available (Hepa filtr) at reasonable price. Smooth shape, ergonomic handle.This hoover was much better than I expected.
