The pad is perfect (especially given the price), however it needs a bit of adaptation when switching from the native radio controllers, as the buttons and the directional controllers require to raise the fingers a bit higher up to reach them. But even my kids with their small fingers adapted quickly to it, and even sometimes prefer to play with this pad. You also don't have the connection issues or battery issues that can occur with the native controllers.

The controller came with buttons that wouldn't click, you could press the A,B,Y,or X,button upwards of 20 times and it would never actually register. You had to click, then press significantly harder to actually have it do anything.I contacted the company explaining all of my issues. No response in any regard. It has been two weeks.Controller has since completely died suddenly and without any reason (It sat on a shelf untouched). Going to try to exchange the product for a new one and hope. Going to stick to other companies other then Hori from now on.

This controller is great for the price. I was skeptical at first, but when this arrived I was more than surprised. I wanted a second full controller for multiplayer games, and didn't want to shell out $60 for 2 new joy-cons, at least not yet, this fits the bill in every way. Only downside is that it only works with the dock, but that is not too big of a deal because you can use separate joy-cons on the go. Great deal for the price!P.S. Somewhat works on PC, a bit hard to set up. Works great with Raspberry Pi
If you have a Switch and do not want to drop the stupidly high amount of money Nintendo wants for an official pro controller, this is a great compromise. The the buttons and joystick all feel responsive and the cord is nice and long. The D-pad is a little odd, but works fine. You are giving up the rumble and motion control which is a minor hindrance some games such as Mario Odyssey.
All I wanted was a simple Switch controller to use when my console is docked. I only use it for Pokemon Sword and Shield and it works great. I don't need things like amiibo compatibility, rumble, or motion controls, and if you don't need them, either, then I highly recommend this controller. Simple, but still good quality.
I was a bit dubious about this but my son is thrilled with it. The cable is really long so he can sit at a distance from the television and the change in button placement actually pleased him. So far so good.
I use it to play Fighting games on PC and most of the games that require the pro controller on switch. I've had it for months and it hasn't shown a single sign of breaking, I've been pretty rough on it too with me sometimes dropping it on my hardwood floor. I would honestly recommend this as a cheaper alternative to the pro controller its great!
This product is so vulnerable. After one month use, the peel of rotating direction control has been damaged, and the sharpened metal part has exposed. The buttons on the top did not respond as quick as it does in the beginning, and those buttons generated huge clicking sound
