I, like many others, decided to cancel my gym membership and buy a treadmill this winter. The ordering and delivery of this treadmill were all seamless, it came right on time and it was easy to set up. However, the treadmill came broken, and this is where my trouble began. Now, my husband was able to jig the broken screen and power circuit enough with some gorilla glue and duct tape that I was able to use the treadmill, which is the only reason for 1 star.A review on the treadmill itself is maybe 3/5 stars. I hated how there was each number button to quickly jump the speed and holding on the arrow buttons and waiting for them to change was actually dangerous when going fast speeds. I hated how there was each number button to quickly jump the speed and holding on the arrow buttons and waiting for them to change was actually dangerous when going fast speeds. This was VERY annoying. The fan also was barely functioning and only had one setting. The belt would slip when you would run fast as well. However, the main reason for this scathing review is entirely related to this company. The day I got my treadmill delivered was the day this started (1/22/2021) and today (5/24/2021) 4 MONTHS LATER! it is not even resolved. I spent HOURS calling and emailing for the next week after the delivery, and i am not exaggerating. I literally sent 6 emails and called and waited on hold for 30 mins at a time for an entire week AND I NEVER HEARD BACK. When I had set up payment for this treadmill I opted to open a line of credit and boy was this a mistake. I could not cancel the card it was on or file a claim with the bank, it all had to go through horizon. Fast forward 45 DAYS from my delivery date, I finally get an email response that says they are send me out a replacement piece but it will take 1 more month to get here. At this point, the treadmill is functioning so I was ok with this, however the 2 months came and went AND NOTHING HAPPENED. Then the treadmill stops functioning entirely. I am not sure if this is because of its original injury or if this is just the life span for the devils fitness company. After weeks of emailing and asking for a refund, my prayers are answered, but are they!? THEY ARE NOT! They email me saying they will process the refund but it will take 14 business to actually happen. This is ridiculous because remember how I have a line of credit on this thing? The bank with the loan will not do anything because THERE IS NO CONFIRMATION FOR MY RETURN! The horzion people never officially "returned" this item and I never had a formal confirmation and so here we are 4 MONTHS LATER. I finally waited long enough (two months) that the credit line will issue my refund because I had email proof of a return taking place months ago. This process has killed my souls in way I did not know possible. please, moral of the story, DO NOT BUY FROM HORIZON

I purchased my T202 treadmill in March 2021. I used it for walking and running, 2-3 times per week for approximately an hour at a time. I had to have it repaired in December 2021 because it was making a terrible sound. This was covered by the warranty. By August 2022, one of the preset workout options caused the display to flash and the belt would not run. I contacted support about this, but since it was out of warranty, I'd have to pay for all repairs. Since I was still able to use the treadmill on other settings, I did not pursue a repair. By December 2022, the display would flash in and out until finally, it went out completely and the treadmill no longer worked at all. Extremely disappointed that my treadmill died before it was even two years old. Unless you plan to use this machine for very light use, I'd HIGHLY recommend sourcing your treadmill elsewhere. I did enjoy this treadmill while it was functional, but plan on repairs and replacement sooner than you think.

I purchased a T202 about 5 weeks ago, having given up hope that my gym was going to reopen soon, and can confirm that the hardware seems to be excellent: it is relatively quiet, extremely smooth and well cushioned. It is spoiled by poor customer support and terrible software, both in the treadmill and in the associated tablet application. Although I live in Canada and ordered from Canada, the T202 was set in "miles" and mph when it arrived. It took me many calls to customer support to find how to convert it to km and km/hr. I have no idea what a mile is, other than it's something I can't run in 4 minutes. However, that problem was resolved after I finally got through to a helpful person in technical support --- there is no mention in any of the manuals how to set it ... I am not interested in running for a particular time, I want to run a particular distance, as I do outside in summer. Most treadmill apps allow the workout to be set for a particular distance, particular time or particular number of calories. This seems to be possible neither with the software in the treadmill nor with the associated tablet application. This is clearly a very simple software change and I can't understand why it's not available. Also, the screen on the treadmill displays the same values as the displays underneath: the current speed, the time remaining, the kilocalories burned and the incline. Given that that information is already available below, it seems a waste of display space to repeat it: why not display other things such as the time taken (rather than time remaining), percentage of the workout complete, etc.?In summary, although I've only run about 90 km on it so far, it seems to be an excellent piece of hardware spoiled by poor software.

We have had our T202 for 3 years. About 15 months after purchase, the belt slipped/shredded and shattered the motor cover. Warranty was expired so I purchased a new belt and installed it myself. It was then I realized that the build was so poor that the motor drive pulley and the belt pulley were severely misaligned, which is what caused the issue in the first place. I pushed it into alignment as best I could and got it running again. More recently, the incline motor went haywire and stuck in the full up position. Upon inspection it actually extended beyond the threads and not it is cross threaded/ceased. A new incline motor is about 50% of the unit's cost and there is no guarantee that replacing it won't cause the same issue to happen if there is an issue with the ... Purchased in Apr 2020 after my 10+ year old Nordic Track died. After first month of running was impressive at how sturdy it felt, but did notice that pace seemed a bit easy so bought a Runn Sensor (optical speed measure meant device) which confirmed my suspicion. Anything over about 9MPH and the treadmill struggled to keep up and speed would oscillate up and down by about 0.5MPH and gets worse the faster you go.For reference I am relatively light at 145lbs and slightly above average runner (sub 17min 5k). Let's start with the manual. I bought a T202 from a Canadian company and, when it arrived, it was set for miles rather than km. I could find nothing in the manual about how to change this and finally reached someone from Horizon on the telephone who walked me through how to make the change. This must be required by all non-USA customers and should be clearly described in the manual. Then let's talk about the software, both that built into the treadmill and that on the AFG application. I want to run a particular distance (say 6 km). Using the "manual" setting, I can only run for a particular time. This is crazy: there is no incentive to run faster if the run is always going to take, say, 30 minutes. If I am running for 6 km then I can finish sooner by running more ... I want to run a particular distance (say 6 km). Using the "manual" setting, I can only run for a particular time. This is crazy: there is no incentive to run faster if the run is always going to take, say, 30 minutes. If I am running for 6 km then I can finish sooner by running more quickly. Why would anyone want to run for a time rather than a distance? The treadmill I used to use, pre-COVID, in the gym, allowed me to select to run for a time, a distance or a number of calories. This would be a trivial software change. Then the hardware. I have run 893.2 km on the treadmill and was beginning to think that the hardware was quite good. Starting a week or so ago, however, after I enter the details of the run (person, mass, manual, time, speed, incline) and press START, the screen flashes continuously at about a 1 second cadence and the treadmill moves very slowly, certainly not the speed I set. This continues indefinitely and there is no mention in the handbook of how to trouble-shoot it. Powering off and on has no effect. The treadmill is therefore useless and I'm trying to get rid of it.And finally support. I have tried contacting the Horizon support by email and telephone several times. Apart from the one time that I found a human who knew how to set the machine to km rather than miles, I have never had ANY response to any of my questions or requests for help.
I purchased this in April of 2020. I used it on a regular basis. Running/Walking/HIIT's etc. It worked well up until the motor burned out. I did all the maintenance as per the manual. It says lifetime warranty for the motor. I cannot get a hold of Horizon for a motor replacement. No help via email or no answer via the phone, This is not Canadian tire's fault. Personally, i would tend to think most if not all of the manufacturers are the same way in customer service. Now I need to purchase another one.
Love this treadmill so far!! It was easy to assemble only taking about 20 minutes. It is extremely quiet and the console is easy to use with a variety of displays and different programs available depending on your goals. Love that it has a place for my water bottle, and to set my iPad so I can watch TV programs I have recorded while working out. Easy to connect my iPad to Bluetooth speakers on the console. Make sure to apply the lubrication under the belt as instructed before first use.... also very easy to do. I highly recommend this treadmill, and Canadian Tire for the outstanding service they provided to me. They went above and beyond.
I purchased this device in July 2020. In 5 months I had to replace the motor. This journey took me about 2 weeks. The customer service phone line was just dropped every time, I was able to communicate to the Customer service only thru the Chat and it was not easy as well. They kept changing my work order. Finally, they sent me replacement motor and it got replaced. Now, I'm 1.5 months out of warranty and the motor control board got broken. I had technician in my house yesterday and he diagnosed this, but I had to pay him out of my pocket, which was completed money waste, because if you purchase this part, then bring him back to replace it, it comes up almost the price of the new device.
