Unit has a poor quality value which fails on first use. Unable to reuse as gas will no longer flow through value. Unfortunately I brought two and have the same issue with each one.

Before I brought this I read the reviews and that it was poor. I put this down to user error. However I was wrong. This thing is junk. The ignitor barely works and the slightest movement blows out the flame. If your lucky the flame will hold long enough for you to actually use it.

You can't light it with the included scratch lighter - you need to use another flame to get it going.There is no adjustment of the flame available - it's either on or off.The flame will go out with the slightest puff of wind.The flame will go out in any position other than upright.This purchase was a complete waste of money.
Dont listen to the reviews of people trying to use it in place of an actual oxy torch, if you cheap out, dont expect oxy torch quality. I used this in my workshop to melt the lead out of my XA falcon's roof join, it worked perfect, in competent hands is a breeze to start and use. For $39 its a fantastic alternative.
This portable LPG blow torch is ideal for small jobs such as soldering and heat treatment. The price of the kit was reasonable.
First attempt to ignite the flame took several attempts. Finally got it going and would continue to flame out. It would stay lit maybe once or twice to start bending aluminium channel but when I needed to re-ignite it, it wouldn't light. Very frustrating and I've used others in the past with none of these issues. The staff were understanding and I did get a full refund. I did ask after reading these reviews if they got many of these back and they said no, it just must be a dud. Just my luck but maybe quality control needs to be looked at more on these as the issues seem to be similar amongst the reviewers here..
Absolute rubbish! The first time I try and use it the flame keeps going out. The flame won't relight with this yellow flame thing happening.I end up switching the torch tip with the one from the older unit I used but can't refill. Worked better.
