HeatMax HotHands HH-1 Body & Hand Super Warmers - 40 count

I have Raynaud's Disease whereby my hands lose all sensation in cold weather when out blowing snow or being out in the cold for an extended amount of time. I use *Hot Hands* every time I have to be outside for any length of time and am able to get my chores done without having to get back inside to warm up and get the feeling back into my fingers. In the last ten years I've had the flu twice. Each time I used the 18 hour chemical heating pads to raise my blood temp above what the flu virus could tolerate by putting one in each sock and going to bed. About three hours after opening the first two, I opened two more packages. When the first two became intolerable in my socks due to the intense heat I traded them out for the two that I had opened three hours later and then used the originals to hold as long as I could in my hands. When the second pair became too hot in my socks the first pair had cooled some and I put them back into my socks. Next morning......no fever, no flu. The heating pads had killed the flu virus. I practically burned my feet the first time I did it because I didn't use a second pair to change out, as I did the second time I had the flu. They raised my blood temp above what the flu virus could tolerate and saved me DAYS, or weeks of being sick as a dog.

I often hand out seasonally appropriate items to the houseless folks near my home. In winter, that includes warmers. I was buying a multipack of various sizes (hand, feet, body) of this brand from Target. But, the houseless folks let me know that these body warmers lasted the longest.
