Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush - Dim Infusion

Beautiful formula! So soft and pretty on the skin. Very luxe! It reminds me of a soft focus finish. I would definitely buy this again not that I need to I have used this so many times and I am not even close to hitting pan. Makes your makeup look blended and professional looking— this bronzer gives the J Lo glow lol at home. They could expand the shades for deeper skin. It gives your makeup that final touch that makes it look like a professional did it. Hourglass is one of the few luxury brands that does not harm animals cruelty free! Respect to them!

This is the Hourglass ambient strobe lighting blush and the travel size costs $28 and the full size is $45.00. This takes a really long time to hit pan, go for the travel size. The shades are beautiful and very natural looking. This is the kind of formula that is almost impossible to mess up. The radiant finish is very flattering. This is buildable if you desire, very easy to blend out. The powder can be a little dusty, tap brush off before applying to skin. I’ve purchased several shades of this and it’s just a beautiful formula. Again, very natural and lasts about 8 hours before fading slightly

For the shade Luminous Flush you get a mix between the Ambient Lighting Powder and a bright poppy pink color. Coming together is a complex product that gives you nothing short of natural radiance on your skin. It gives you none of the shimmery look that actually turns me off of some products, but a multi-dimensional luminosity that looks as if there is a glow coming from underneath your skin. Their packaging is luxe, classic, and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I also appreciate the fact they are vegan and a cruelty free beauty brand. Their pricing is a on the expensive side but for such high quality, innovative, and luxurious looking products it’s really worth spending the extra money. A disappointing blush

I have been thinking of getting this for a long time as the shade Mood Exposure has been recommended for olive skin tone. Saw Cult Beauty having it in travel size so thought this would be a good way to try. Packaging itself is beautiful and it looks high quality. When applied, it blends seamlessly and leaves a nice blurred finish. But that's all there is to praise. This product should never been done in travel format. It being duo shade means that there is a risk there is too much of light pigment in each product. Mine had way too much and as there is not so much space for the darker shade, it just looks invisible cold pink on my cheek (I am light toned, light medium in summer). If they can't guarantee the same results in travel format, they should absolutely never sell it as one. Very disappointed in this.

Diffused Heat

For reference, my skin is fair / light with a neutral undertone.I do have a tendency to turn blushes orange / red though, so that can be annoying.On days where I am happy to wear a blush that is vibrant and fun, I like to choose Diffused Heat. It gives me a tropical flush, that is so beautiful, and I always feel super cute when I wear this shade.If I am after a look that is more pinky, I have to choose shades that are on the lilac / purple side, and sadly Hourglass don't have a shade like that at the moment. Hopefully it will come in the future, because their formulas of their powders is second to none!I also prefer their powder blushes over cream formulas as they are easy to blend, and can look as natural or made up as you choose.A great blush!

Love the glow!

Love this blush! I have a couple different shades but mood exposure is my favorite. It’s a perfect subtle berry shade that’s definitely not too dark. It looks very natural but pigmented at the same time. I love the highlight veining throughout. It gives it such a soft glowy look. My cheeks glow so beautifully without being too intense. When my makeup is too flat or matte looking, this tops it off perfectly adding the glow that it’s missing. This blush also doesn’t irritate the rosacea on my cheeks. It also lasts all day on me. I constantly grab this one over and over. Love it!

My Holy Grail Blush

I originally got this blush in a three-piece compact way back. Mood exposure is one of my favorite colors from that compact, and it recently broke into a thousand pieces. So, I had to get a new blush. I love how Hourglass has lovely baked blushes that are buildable. This one gives a lovely plum glow. It's pigmented but not harsh. I'm normally fair with cool undertones. In the summer, I tend to be light warm with cool undertones. This blush works all year for me.

NOTHING compares

I love blushers and have far too many, so I feel qualified to say these are as good as it possibly gets! These don't just add a beautiful wash of colour, but perfect your skin, blurring pores/blemishes, and giving that subtle glow which seems unique to Hourglass complexion products. I have 6 of these (including the two in the Butterfly palette) but my most used are Sublime and Luminous Flush. I liked Luminous Flush so much that I've bought a few to give as Christmas gifts, it's one of those shades which will suit anyone! I'm very excited to try the new additions to the range when they are in stock! Test Shades in Person

Such a beautiful blush / highlighter hybrid. I’m wearing the color incandescent Electra which is described as a cool peach which is a little odd since peach tones are usually referred to as warm/neutral. I’ve also tried the color Diffused heat and just be weary that the color descriptions are pretty off. Diffused heat showed a lot more of a cool berry tone than a poppy and Sublime flush is also a lot more of a cool pink tone. I wouldn’t recommend buying a color online, it’s better to go swatch in person. Since this is a blush / highlighter hybrid I’m not sure I’d recommend for people with textured skin as I feel it would highlight texture and acne prone skin.For reference I wear Nars foundation in the shade Gobi which is described as a pale yellow.
