Unfortunately I had to return it as it wasn't working. The light was on but it would not close and the manual buttons didn't work either. It was probably due to the fact that when it was delivered someone had used the bin. It had a chocolate looking smoothie inside it which had in transit spilt everywhere

I bought this a few weeks ago and wished I never did.Once a bin liner goes in (XL mind you) and it’s full of rubbish - you have no hope of getting it out :(We ended up with a torn bin liner and rubbish on our floor each time.Very disappointing.

Is a great bin, only downside is it's so easy to stuff the sensor up. But otherwise a great bin, I enjoy it

Great bin! Mine just died after 3 years of battery changes and constant use. Going to grab another one. Great size and the auto lid has good timing.It only broke because my niece constantly tried to open it manually one weekend when it was set on auto or I’m sure it would have kicked on for another few years! Thanks BigW.
Just to help out with earlier QLD review. The full bag is creating a seal, If you drill a small hole in the base of the bin, it will make it easier to take out the bin liner when it is full.
This bin is the best I love the sensor which means no more stick fingerprints all over the bin and the kids love it too
