Little heartbroken and extremely salty that I have to return this dress. Very pretty but the top wouldn’t zip up at all, given this is the largest size they offer I have no choice but to return. I bought the Carina dress from this designer in the same size and that one fits, I had my hopes up that this one would too. Not cool to not be size inclusive 🤷🏼‍♀️

It was more yellow than I expected. The top also fit odd—there was a lot of extra fabric that would fill out nicely with a larger bust (I’m ~B cup). The corset part feels great and the strings on the back allow you to further tighten for even more of a snatched look, but the top is so strange I’m returning. Also, the straps don’t adjust, so I can see this being problematic for someone’s shoulders. Fabric felt okay, had a good weight and was also light and airy. Wish this worked out!

I'm 5'2" with a 23" waist and I am 32D. I ordered a size X-Small D/E. The corset was tight and could be more comfortable. I wish the straps were adjustable because they are slightly too big for me. Everything else fit as expected, and I love this shade of yellow. The slit is nice too!

It is evident to me that whoever designed this dress has never actually seen a woman in real life and therefore based it loosely off of princesses from old Disney movies. I am 5’6 usually a size XS/S and have a large full bust (30F). Based off of the size guide and reviews I ordered a medium in the large bust. I could not get it zipped up! The fabric is so thick, and is probably similar to the curtains that Maria used in “the sound of music” to make the Von Trapp children their outfits. There was far too much heavy fabric in the skirt and did not lay nicely which made the slit impossible to see. The dress is also way longer than the picture shows, it was down to my ankles. The bust was actually too small! The whole dress is a disaster and I found it to be quite confusing.
This dress is beautiful and the quality is amazing, but the sizing is not as expected. I usually wear a size 4/small, but I was not able to get the size small in this dress past my ribcage. The small may fit if you are a size 0-2 (US). I tried to size up, and the medium felt unusually large (more of a size 8 than a 6). Really wished I could make it work!
Beautiful dress. Need a very specific body to fit. I ordered an x-small as that is my usual size, could not even zip this dress up. I probably should have sized up to a medium. Also need at LEAST a C cup to fill this dress. I am a B, and the top was essentially an open shelf. I clearly didn't have the assets to make this dress work.For the right shaped women, I will say, it was a gorgeous dress and seemed to be very well made, just not for me.
The bodice of this dress is so beautifully made, and I love the thick, crisp fabric. It’s a shame that the design is so poor. The size small fit my waist (29inch waist…usually not a size small) but I had a solid 6 inches at the top that wouldn’t close. I sized up to the medium plus cup and it was now too big on my waist, but still 6 inches at the top that wouldn’t close. The cups are bizarrely designed. If you have any movement it’s not going to fit correctly or securely. I’d suggest they make the corset lacing in the back functional to allow for my variance in size where people need it more and that they hide a shelf bra in the front to provide support.

I went ahead and ordered the rose print XS larger bust size (I am 5'2" 108lbs, 33-24-35 30DDD) to my local Nordie's with the thought that if I didn't like it, I'd just return it on the spot. Luckily, it fit perfectly and I LOVE it. However, I also understand where other reviewers are coming from completely. It is a bit longer on me than the model, maybe halfway between knee and ankle. The material is cotton and a bit of rayon so it feels very nice on the skin and breathable for the summer. It's thick enough to not need a bra. Overall I love it and I think for the fit/structure/material it is worth the price.
This dress is absolutely stunning. When it comes to size please make sure you completely loosen up the back corset. I could not zip this up at all until I loosened the strings and than retied them when zipped up. Incredible quality, show stoping design. Will be getting this in another color!
I’m shocked. After reading the reviews on this dress I wasn’t expecting much, but holy cow. The material is thick and structured and double lined so the white is extremely opaque. I will say I think the house of CB dresses tend to run on the “smaller” side in the waist because they’re supposed to have a corset effect. I am a 34DD, 26 inch waist and the small D/E cup size fit me like a dream. I’m so excited to wear it. If you need support you could probably put like sticky boobs in the top as it adjusts, but has little lifting support. I feel snatched and confident in the dress, House of CB’s quality has definitely come a long way.
