I was so excited to get this dress, it looked so flattering and promising on others, after reading reviews. I tried this on multiple times because I was on the fence: the bottom portion and waist is SO flattering. However, the bust top portion fits quite weird. I zipped into this perfectly (36B) but the top portion gapped a little awkwardly and the straps did not sit comfortably, kept falling off. I think if you have a larger bust, this would work for you??

I loved the color of this and the fabric is perfect for summer very cool to the touch. However the bust boning and straps did not work for me. It was cut for someone who is more like a 32DD and I'm a 34B. Also the straps were continuously falling off as I tried to position the top. It was like the straps sound have been sewn closer inward to the boning. You can see it in the photo where the shadow is on the left side of the chest this girl clearly has a lot up top. Also there is a pretty hefty boning/lining in the bottom inch that was a little strange but not a deal breaker. In all I had to return this.

The sizing for this dress/brand is super inconsistent. I've tried multiple dresses from house of CB and in some I'm a medium and in others I'm an extra small. This dress ran very large for me and the XS fit best, but still not perfect. I'm 5'4 and 130lbs and typically a small in other brands.

This dress fit me perfectly and I didnāt have to wear a bra. The fabric is heavy but doesnāt cling. I wore it for my sisters wedding in CA where it was pretty hot and humid. My only complaint is that the straps donāt stay where you adjust them. I was constantly having to adjust them (even though the bodice was tight and I didnāt even need the straps). If I had known ahead of time that the straps would slip, I would have gotten them altered to my size.
I was so excited about this dress, but I think something was just really off with the sizing. Iām 127 lbs 5ā3ā and normally a size 6. I ordered size 6 in this but couldnāt even get the bodice to sip up. And even if it had zipped up, there is so much fabric in the skirt that it just didnāt look right. Returned. It is a really pretty peach though. I suggest sizing up if youāre going to try this dress.
I'll start by saying the dress is stunning. Fabric is great, style is perfect. I am hoping to wear this to my bridal shower.I was able to zip it up but it was SNUG! particularly in the chest and ribcage area. I'm typically between an xs and small and I'm going to try to size up to a medium. I'm 5ft, 112 lbs, 32C and a small was tight.
I ordered this dress in a medium the first time since a lot of reviews said it ran small, which was a mistake. I am 5ā3, curvy and usually a small (size 4-6) b cup size and the small fit me perfectly. The medium was very very big on me. The material is so nice and love that it has adjustable straps. I cannot wait to wear this dress itās beyond flattering
First time trying this brand and I am a new fan. One of the most beautiful dresses Iāve ever tried on. The corset bodice snatches & I loved playing with the straps for a strapless look (it doesnāt have a strapless option I just tucked them in). You donāt need undergarments. Love the pockets. The hem is weighted which gives great movement to the skirt of the dress. Timeless & worth the investment. Would be perfect for a rehearsal dinner or bridal shower/party. Elopement etc. Just get the dress!

The bust doesn't fit at all but worse than that, the dresses pulls and buckles all over the top half of the dress. The neckline is wonky and bubbles, there's pull lines across the belly without being too tight on me (I bought a Medium because the small was way too small on me), and the seamline from the bodice to the skirt has a lip to it. Interestingly, when I went to the store to return it, the saleswoman said she hasn't seen anyone successfully buy a House of CB dress without returning it. Gorgeous dress, looks phenomenal on. I purchased it for my bridal shower and 15 minutes of wearing it the straps snapped and broke. Not to mention it was the hardest dress to steam and looked wrinkled within 2 seconds of sitting down. Loved it but not the best quality.
