I recently bought the blue corset dress for my teenage daughter, and it's a showstopper! The size small was a perfect fit for her 5 ft. 4 in, 125-pound frame with an athletic build. Although she has a smaller bust, a pair of bra inserts did the trick. The corset top worked wonders, sculpting her silhouette into a stunning hourglass figure.

I ordered this dress to wear at a wedding and it was honestly a nightmare experience. I ordered the same dress in the same color three times and each one had the same issue where the center seam of the corset was horribly crooked. You would think that a dress over $200 would be well constructed, but instead each one was worse than the other. There's a reason all these dresses are on sale at Nordstrom, and that's because they're just shuffling the remaining inventory that's been returned over and over again due to this defect. I ordered this dress in Crystal Size S. It too small for me and the Crystal color looks more like a light pink, so the photo is not accurate at all and displays a soft white dress, but the reality is it’s pink. I feel like the corset looked a little too corny for me, it kind of looked costume-y to me haha it would probably look better in darker colors. Overall, I would recommend this dress if you like a dramatic style that snatches you but don’t get Crystal unless you want a pink/lilac looking dress.

Beautiful dress unfortunately the fit is just weird. I ordered a small and a medium to see what size would fit best I'm 5'0 , 34 triple D breast 26 waist 37 hips the small fit perfect from the waist down but would not zip in the breast area. The medium did not fit the waist and hip. It was too baggy, but it did zip up in the breast area. I had to return both dresses. The model wears the dress beautifully but not real bodies. I would say girls save your money don't bother ordering unless you can try on in store .
Total scam, you can measure your body in centimeters this dress will not hug your body unless it’s professionally fitted at an experienced tailoring shop, now I would absolutely consider this option if the dress isn’t made of THE CHEAPEST POLYESTER out there. I ordered a small first, returned it and paid an additional $60 since the promo was over to order a mediumBecause I was still willing to give this dress a chance!!! I usually wear a size small/26 in jeans/2… I know the reviews said to size up, but I decided to follow the size chart to order, because why would they have the size chart totally wrong? I purchased this dress in the tangerine in both small and medium d/e. I’m a 32DDD with a 25” waist and 37” hips, so pretty hourglass shaped. Small fit fine in the waist but clung to my hip area and I couldn’t get it zipped past the bottom of my rib cage. Medium fit a little big most places, cups were fine but a little big in the chest circumference, but the waist was huge and unflattering. There would be no way to get it altered because of all the corset boning. So don’t let the pictures fool you, this dress is made for a more tube shaped body. The tangerine color is beautiful, more like the closeup photo, and it made me sad this didn’t work.
Honestly I don’t know what to say about this brand. This was 1 of 5 dresses that I purchased for my daughter from House of CB. Shes 5’2, 118 pounds, 32DD and wears a size small or 4. Purchased size Small D/E (fuller cup) and NONE of them fit and this one was the most ill-fitting one of all. First they are all extremely long. Like almost to the ankle. This could be fixed obviously but the back wouldn’t come close to zipping. 118 pounds and it was easily 5 inches away from zipping. Isn’t that the reason the dresses come in two different cup sizes. This dress was made for an A cup. No wonder they have such bad reviews.
My first time trying house of cb. Was so excited for this dress but it was a total dud! I ordered an xsmall a/c and a small a/c based on some reviews saying it ran smaller. The xsmall was too big!! I’m a 32b and the cups were huge! Basically everything about the fit was too big: bust area, waist and hips. It also seemed much longer on me than the model image (I’m 5’7).Based on the size chart I should be an xsmall. Hesitant to try other styles if they all run this large. Pretty bummed as the blue color is beautiful!
