You can tell as soon as they’re unboxed it’s a premium product from the materials used such as the bamboo exterior instead of the usual plastic. This is close to being a good product, but doesn't quite make it. #1 - The power-off timeout is waayyy too short - manual says 5 minutes, but it's less than that. If not, the remote didn't pair with the master properly, and you have to go through another procedure to re-pair them to each other. So then I pause it, but 3 minutes later I get the "POWERING DOWN" message from EACH Speaker one at a time. #5 - ONE of the speakers has a battery in it, which allows you to move it around. But it still needs to be within bluetooth range of the master speaker in order to play stereo. Or else, you can pair to the remote only, but then you have to re-pair to the master when you want to go back. Overall, looks like a quality product, but it's just not worth the frustrations when other manufacturers don't have these issues.

The sound is great and it holds a charge for a long time, but the low battery warning and other things are in a human voice. I find it really irritating. The worst part is that it is a micromanaging mean boss about low battery. It tells you the first time that it's low and then keeps doing it every minute or so. I could have made it all the way home after my incredibly stressful job singing the songs I had cued up and would feel great right now. Instead, I'm angry and even more irritated thab I already was. Other companies have lights that show how much charge is left, give one beep of a low battery warning then turn off when they're out of battery. I found it hard to find out the wattage of the speakers, and im still not entirely sure what it is for each speaker, but they are of a good sound, and pretty loud considering their size. I wouldnt say the sound is unbelievable, but it is pretty good; they arent the sorts of speakers youd use for watching movies or anything, they are designed for music and entertaining (not saying you couldnt use them for movies!) As i say, i was pretty impressed with the sound, and the base is very good too! but i just feel like they are lacking in a clearer sound; the only way i can describe the sound is, supressed, or like there is sheet over the speakers holding the sound back, so thats why i gave 4* isntead of 5. Last points, and by no means the least, is the renewable/eco friendly features! You have the speakers made out of "rewind" fabric, and bamboo, and there is zero plastic in the packaging which is 100% recyclable. I would say one shame is that you get a power connection for every region, so there is quite a lot of wasted plastic there. All in all i am very impressed by these speakers, and would recommend to anyone that is looking for an eco friendly product that gives great sound for your music at home, and on-the-go

The walls in our house are thicker than a McDonald's triple thick shake, and I can't listen to my turntable while I cook because of this. NO LONGER, HOWEVER. These little speakers are awesome- I have one set up in my kitchen and one set up in the living room and they connect super easily not only to each other, but to my turntable. I can now listen to music while I cook again, 5/5. The sound quality is also pretty great, especially for their small-ish size. My records, while not sounding as good as they could if I just hooked it up via cord, sound better than expected on these through Bluetooth. I charged up both speakers. The left one did fine, the charging light came on & charged up fine & worked well on its own . However the right speaker did not. I repeatedly tried to charge it up - the charging light came on for a few seconds & then went off. I left it overnight. I tried this for 2 days. But once it was disconnected from the mains it would not work. It only worked if it was still connected to the mains which defeats the object of being flexible & able to use it in different parts of the home or in the garden. I really like the look of these speakers, and I hoped the sound would be excellent, but it's a little lackluster. The bass is really lacking and the sound is a little hollow. It would be great if there were an app or physical controls to adjust the EQ. It was very difficult to find the correct connectivity option to connect these to my computer that only has a headphone jack (two aux cables and a headphone splitter did the trick). It's a bummer I have to power these on and off for every use even if they're not being used with bluetooth and are plugged in to power. Customer service is really lousy. Takes a long time to reply via email. Free returns mean you pay for shipping. Phone number goes to voicemail and doesn't get returned.
If you are looking for great sound in a small package the Marley Duo's deliver. Great versatility with one speaker being chargeable. The main speaker talks to the portable one for stereo sound. You also power off both speakers from the main one. Connecting the bluetooth is a bit confusing at first due to the vague instruction booklet. once you figure it out the speakers connect to each other and other devices seamlessly. Having the multiple ways to connect to a source is a great bonus. The sound is very good. The midrange sound could be better. It would have been perfect if both speakers were chargeable.
