I've been using these earbuds for about a week and I'm quite impressed with them. The sound quality is really great; I was able to hear fine detail in songs and there's a really nice bass presence, which is boost-able if you like bass-heavy music. The build quality is very nice also, which pleasantly surprised me given they're marketed as eco-friendly. I was expecting them to feel slightly cheap in the hand but they don't at all – they feel very solid, premium & well constructed. Battery life is also impressive, 8 hours from the buds and 20-odd hours worth of recharges from the case. They certainly lasted through every use I could think of with no sign of dying any time soon. The only downside I could note for these earbuds was the touch-sensitive interactions – I ... MoreI've been using these earbuds for about a week and I'm quite impressed with them. There's no gestures here – everything is accessed by single, double or triple tapping the side of the bud – so I would've much preferred a simple tactile button on each bud. This is far from a huge problem though as I'm sure it's something you get used to quite quickly.

Rebel True Wireless Earbuds, the sound quality is fantastic but the fit isnt great. Ive had apple air pods for a couple of years and when they got washed!! I decided to try these instead. The sound quality is great and the ability to change the the bass is really good but not being able to pause is a bit annoying. However im still struggling with the fit, they come with 3 sizes of silicon ends that are changeable but its just the physical size of the buds, they are quite large. Maybe I have smaller than average ears? But it does get frustrating when working on your car and your hands are dirty and the buds fall out onto the floor, after the 3rd time I just gave up as they were getting pretty dirty. I've never had a problem when walking or light activities. So yes ... MoreRebel True Wireless Earbuds, the sound quality is fantastic but the fit isnt great. I now have these headphones for nearly a year and I must say they don't reach the high standards I'm used to from my get together speaker I have since for ever.None of the provided sizes fits well enough to do any activity with a little movement involved or even eating while having them in the ears. That the LED is blinking every few seconds while they are connected becomes really annoying when you are in a dark environment, for example listening to music in bed when the person next to you wants to sleep. And finally sometimes one of the headphones randomly just disconnects and only one ist working afterwards. I tried all of the by the support mentioned methods to force reconnect them. Sometimes it works First try, sometimes you can connect both simultaniosly ... MoreI now have these headphones for nearly a year and I must say they don't reach the high standards I'm used to from my get together speaker I have since for ever.None of the provided sizes fits well enough to do any activity with a little movement involved or even eating while having them in the ears. That the LED is blinking every few seconds while they are connected becomes really annoying when you are in a dark environment, for example listening to music in bed when the person next to you wants to sleep. And finally sometimes one of the headphones randomly just disconnects and only one ist working afterwards. I can’t say I have ever seen or owned a pair of headphones made from natural bamboo. They definitely feel well built and differentiate themselves form the rest of the market with this combination of natural and recycled materials. All while maintaining really good sound and a lot of the features you would find with a wireless pair of earphones. These include touch/tap controls on the headphone allowing the user to skip tracks, answers calls and even change the volume which is a first for me. The case also encompasses wireless charging as well as usb C which is also included in the pack. Charging times aren’t too long and they seem to last a good lot of hours of listening to music after which you can charge them up with the case to get a boost.Last but not least is ... MoreI can’t say I have ever seen or owned a pair of headphones made from natural bamboo. The one star is for good packaging that intentionally and obviously avoids use of plastic. The earbuds themselves are probably a decent item if you get a pair that work. Mine do not.First issue is extremely poor instructions for setup and pairing, but in spite of that you clearly need to remove the small plastic tabs on the ends of the buds and ensure everything is charged before using - check.Pairing was probably the worst Bluetooth pairing experience ever. Only the right side would connect, so it took a great deal of time and several resets and forced pairing attempts to finally get connected. The second time using them the pairing failed again and the process had to be repeated, then the third time as well. The second time using them the pairing failed again and the process had to be repeated, then the third time as well. Just ridiculous!Additionally the left bud dies after about 15 minutes out of the case. I also noted the markings on the right and left buds are different and they don't even look like a set. It would seem the QC on this item is clearly lacking.Upon contacting Marley's customer support I was told simply "if you want a refund you need to return it to where you purchased it". Ok... well, so much for customer support!I cannot recommend these with so many good quality competitors out there. I will be getting a refund and try a different brand. By today's standards this is pretty simple tech and should work right out of the package without all this nonsense.
Pretty good, I wish they could go louder tho. I was surprised I only had to turn them down a little to listen to my music in the gym comfortably and some music I had them on ful. They look nice and feel well made. Wish start up guide was clearer as I did have to charge them fully before they would both work. Good that they come with ear bud replacements. Glad I got them in sale as I'm not sure they would be worth the original price and that's only because of the volume. The sound isn't as clear as imagined it would be either or at least not compared to my old wire headphones.
I have a chant speaker and and wanted to like them... but they suck. The bluetooth connection is weak. If you are in a crowded place the signal goes in and out. The battery sucks. after initially leaving them on a charger for a few hours the battery life was not good and the randomly turned off. The sound quality is poor as is the fit in your ear. From the time you open them they feel light, plastic, and crappy. I have bought better headphones at the dollar store. Save your $ and get the ones that match your iphone
The Rebel True Wireless Earbuds are an overall good choice if you're after a pair of wireless earbuds. The audio quality is average/ good however I would personally like more bass. There are two audio equalizer presets you can choose from, however I couldn't really tell much difference between the sound stages so this feature might be a bit of a gimmick. The earbuds themselves look nice and is a nice change from seeing the all white Apple Earpod alternatives. The touch controls work well however there is no audio feedback to confirm that your touch was registered. This is something I'm used to on other earphones so it's a bit weird turn up the volume by tapping without knowing that your tap is being registered.Taking one of the earbuds out of your ear pauses the ... MoreThe Rebel True Wireless Earbuds are an overall good choice if you're after a pair of wireless earbuds. This is something I'm used to on other earphones so it's a bit weird turn up the volume by tapping without knowing that your tap is being registered.Taking one of the earbuds out of your ear pauses the music which is a nice feature, and putting the earbud back into your ear resumes music play. The case is compact and well made and the magnets guide the earbuds into the correct charging position. These type of earbuds never really seem to stay into my ears, no matter which size of ear tip I tried (3 sizes include in the box), these earbuds would always eventually fall out of my ears. This will be different for every person, however this design just doesn't work well for me. I much prefer the galaxy buds 2 which have a wing tip for a more secure hold.Personally, the worst feature for me is that each earbud has a light that flashes every 6 seconds or so to show that they are connected. I think this makes the earbuds look cheap and the light is obnoxious.Tried these out on my android phone and there was no trouble with the Bluetooth connection.Overall, solid set of earbuds but I believe there are better alternatives out there.
When searching for a pair of headphones the last thing I tend to consider when making a decision is sustainability, until now! When I first heard about the House of Marley brand, I was aware they were known in the industry for making quality items, however having done some background research I am astounded to find out that they are also a fully sustainable company which is brilliant. These earbuds are not only great to look at, but they are also made from quality materials which have been recycled where possible from the recycled silicone to make the battery charging case, to the bamboo on the exterior, they all work together in harmony to enhance their ethical brand. When it comes to the pairing process, other earbuds have left me furious by how complex it is to ... MoreWhen searching for a pair of headphones the last thing I tend to consider when making a decision is sustainability, until now! When it comes to the pairing process, other earbuds have left me furious by how complex it is to set-up, luckily with these they were as simple as clicking a few buttons and was extremely painless to do.Overall I think the sound quality is second to none, I was particularly impressed with the echo noise cancellation feature, which helps to block out the background noise in built up areas. In terms of the charging capability, I was genuinely overwhelmed by how quickly they took to charge, they claim that from empty they are able to achieve a one hour playback with a fifteen minute charge and having tested it, they are true to their word. Another really impressive feature about these is that they are water resistant and have and IPX5 rating. This means you will be able to get a good workout going, without having to worry about the rain or sweat destroying them.I would 100% recommend buying these earphones, they are fully sustainable, are extremely well made and have fantastic sound quality!
Like many other reviewers that have left comments here, I am experiencing similar issues of the headphones randomly disconnecting, only allowing audio through one earbud, or refusing to connect to my device. Even after forgetting Rebel from all devices and just trying to get it running on my brand new iPad again, they won’t work. My use of this website on my iPad is a mess because the page just bounces around when I am trying to read reviews or support comments. It makes me wonder if these folks use their own product.
