The new Hoya Fusion Antistatic Next filters use a newly developed antistatic coating that acts like a magnetic field in the opposite direction to keep dust and dirt away from the filter surface. The three filter types in the series, a CIP-PL filter, a UV filter and a protector, are therefore particularly suitable for use in dirty or dusty environments. Unlike conventional filters, which require frequent cleaning in such environments to avoid ruining shots with dirt in front of the lens, the new antistatic filters require far less maintenance. Of course, it is not possible to completely dispense with cleaning with these filters, but it can be kept to a minimum. In this way, the photographer or filmmaker reduces the risk of the filter surface being scratched by the finest dust or dirt particles, which is often almost impossible to avoid by frequent cleaning in such environments. The hardened, antistatic surface also repels water and rain and can be easily and gently cleaned of dirt stains and fingerprints if required. Hoya Fusion Antistatic UV - High brilliance and best contrasts The new UV filter absorbs ultraviolet rays, which often make outdoor shots appear blurred and indistinct. This happens especially when taking pictures in the mountains and by the sea. This clears the view, suppresses the blue cast in the distance and increases the image contrast. This versatile "fair weather" filter is suitable for color and black and white shots and also serves as a lens protector that can always be used, which is further enhanced by its anti-static properties. Special UV glass absorbs almost the entire spectrum of UV rays, making images clearer and sharper and reducing haze.

Whenever I buy a lens I automatically buy one of these to go on whether it costs 400 or 4000, I dropped a GFX100 with 45-100mm nose first off a tripod last month, the filter rim was bent but the lens and camera work perfectly, couldnt believe all I had to do was replace the Hoya Fusion filter..

This polariser is slim and lightweight. The adjustment ring has a good grip and is smooth and easy to turn. The thread grip is prominent, making the filter easy to remove from the lens. A good filter to have in your kit.
Quality product at a great price, and from a reputable, dependable UK supplier.
Hoya quality never in dispute, this new Fusion filter proudly sits on the end of my new Lumix S Pro 70-200mm F4 lens, its doing a 1st class job so far.
Used a multitude of different filters in the past and have always been satisfied with Hoyas!
Excellent filter, fits my lens perfectly, does the job!
POLARIZING WORKS WELL AND ADJUSTMENT IS SMOOTH .
As usual a quality and well made product from Hoya. It pays to put a decent filter on your lens.
