Hoya 95 mm UV Fusion Antistatic Filter

This versatile fair-weather filter is suitable for color and black-and-white photography and also serves as an ever-usable lens cover, which is further improved by its antistatic properties. Special UV glass absorbs almost the entire spectrum of UV rays, making images clearer and sharper and fog weaker. The Hoya Fusion Antistatic filters are the first to use a completely newly developed antistatic coating that acts like a magnetic field in the opposite direction to keep dust and dirt away from the filter surface. The antistatic effect is achieved by a special 9-layer Super Multi-Coating formula, which also greatly reduces reflections without impairing light transmission. The flat aluminium filter frame is constructed in two parts and prevents vignetting. This makes the filter perfect for use with wide-angle lenses. Hoya Antistatic filters require far less maintenance due to their special properties. The hardened, antistatic surface also repels water and rain and can be easily and gently cleaned of dirt stains and fingerprints. This protects the glass and prevents scratching by small dust and dirt particles.
