This is a stout Chromebook. Just what I needed. We travel a lot and my last Chromebook developed a short in it because the Bottom of the unit was flimsy. This HP Chromebook fits what I needed. This unit works great. No problems finding my wifi. Easy to use. The keyboard is really good. The keys have large letters. Strong hinge. Would be nice to have one more USB-C slot. I have not encountered any problems with this Chromebook. We even hooked it up to our TV to watch movies. The movies never stop to buffer. Plus it gets updates till June, 2028.

The chrome book is wonderful. It is in great shape and works perfectly. It is exactly what I needed. Nice size and compact. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because the power cable that was sent with it did not function. It took me a while to figure out that it was the cable and not the laptop. I didn’t get a refund because it was just easier and faster for me to buy one on Amazon. Anyway, you cannot beat the price on this chrome book with a touchscreen. It is an excellent value

I love hp everything but , I'm letting him take first pick of the two.I did warranty so no worry'sI put warranties on everything nothing is reliable this days. Rating is just on delivery because I clearly wrote please ring door camera. But, Walmart notified me never the less. I love Walmart online hate going in the stores. I can't stay on budget in that place🤣. Wal-Mart is your everyday one stop shopping place that's forsure. 👏

The device was refurbished, not new, but the product listing did not include that information. The Chromebook shows obvious wear and blemishes.I am glad that the AC/DC adapter has a "figure 8" cable so I can use other cables to power this in other countries. The power connector on the Chromebook itself is a USB-C rather than a proprietary design.The Chromebook was shipped in a sturdy but compact cardboard box.
Good Points: The HP 11a G8 EE 11.6" Chromebook - AMD A4, 16 GB eMMC, Grey is an entry level laptop, storage can easily be increased by the addition of a micro SD card. There is also the option to decide which apps should be running in order to reserve resources. Quite a number of Android mobile phone apps can be run on this laptop including WhatsApp, anti-virus and cleaners, too. It could almost be used like a really big screen mobile phone.Improvement Points: Perhaps more USB sockets could be installed for data transfer for those concerned about bluetooth security issues and on that topic an ethernet socket to bypass WiFi hackers.
Good Points: It’s whiteImprovement Points: Super slow (not wifi but actual hardware). Screen has massive plastic around the edges. Looks very very dated and is just a general waste of money. For the price invest a bit more into a proper laptop. I bought this to just do weekly shops or to watch YouTube and it genuinely struggles with that.
I wanted to love this as a little computer to use with my cricut as a project only computer, but the display screen was flickering upon startup and likely has something to do with the touchscreen function because after about a few seconds up to two minutes it would then stop flickering and worked decently for web browsing and otherwise. It seemed really good for the price point and I did order a different one that's not touchscreen from the same seller which seems to work well but I really wanted a touchscreen for my projects so maybe this one was just not properly refurbished or rushed repair for quick holiday sale. I contacted the seller about it but got no response so I'm returning it to Walmart and will reconsider a purchase of another touchscreen at a later ... After 3 days it flashed white while in use & died. Drove the 30 mile round trip back to Best Buy and got another replacement. DOA, screen said, corrupt or missing operating system Reload. Back to beat Buy for another replacement. Same flashing white screen, & died within 1 hour of use. Took back to Best Buy for a refund. I told the Geek Squad person that HP has gotten a series of bad video chips or something of that nature and they apparently have no testing or quality control before shipping their product. This laptop had Fast shipping and a great price! I was pleasantly surprised to find the charger was included as well. Thank you. It's perfect to use at home or at the airport for watching youtube, emails, surf the web that sort of thing. I would definitely buy it again. It does tend to kind of reboot or upgrade unexpectedly, but it's not like I'm doing remote work or something so it's doesn't really bother me at all. It also lets you use the tabs from the last session so it's easy to pick up where you left off. Enjoy.
