Everything about HP OEM toner cartridges seems basically fine. After supporting HP printing products for over 30 years, I can't say that they never have a problem, but I generally feel safe buying them. But that's more like the old adage, "No one ever got fired for buying IBM." And should delivery of what is merely baseline performance a reason for a 5-star rating?Unfortunately, HP OEM cartridges are much more expensive than generics (a full set of high-capacity OEM cartridges is about equal to the price of the printer). Was loss of that business to generics/refillables why Epson finally started making consumer-refillable tank printers, (and then marketing it like this only made sense)? Again, I don't know for sure.I've had some totally fine experience with generics for much less money, even with different printer brands. But...there's always a nagging concern about potential problems from the generics. To complicate matters, I needed toner quickly and the high-capacity ones weren't even available, making the cost/page even higher. One way to evaluate/analyze would be to assess the likelihood of failure, and how high the cost of same : time & inconvenience to return/replace the cartridges; repair cost if the generic item led to trouble with the printer itself.I can't say at the moment. So it's a 3-star review for the higher-expense item that mostly just does what it's supposed to do.

I forgot to check the toner capacity of my laser jet printer before I went to town. When I got back, I had remembered to check the toner on my printer. Lo and behold, I was almost out of black toner. So I made another trip to Office Depot that day and fortunately, they had not one but 3 black toner cartridges available to choose from. So, I grabbed one, paid for it, and went home and immediately installed it. You see, I had 97 Newsletter to send out and knew the present one would not have been enough. Thank you, Home Depot for having stock available and a good, reliable, dependable cartridge.

For huge jobs on a film set, this authentic toner is the one to beat. It is SUPER EASY to install, just pop open the front and snap it in. After a few minutes of charging you’re ready to go. The toner lasts forever! If you’re doing heavy printing this is what you want.HP doesn’t need to do standard or high capacity—ALL of their authentic toner are super high capacity, without paying a premium. The prices here are great and Micro Center is the only store in the Brooklyn area a the time to have this product in stock. Will shop again for my laser printing needs.
Excellent color laser with dependable toner. It is a joy to be able to print duplex without waiting for ink to dry. Black print is very clear and legible. Now I can see that my 7 yo mono laser has a warn print head and needs replacement. Proof is in the type comparison. A high capacity version of this toner is available and on order.
I was so glad to have a trouble free toner installation. No problems changing or replacing cartridge in printer. Very light weight and simple to install. Once calibration was complete, printing was a breeze.
There is no issue with the timer itself; the issue for a small business is the cost v the number of flyers get with the content. Color copies just aren’t crisp enough when your service relies on visual impact. Will look into cheaper toner options.
It was the first time that I purchased the cartridge for my printer. I had had my daughter order on-line from somewhere earlier, but I thought the price was too high. Boy, was I right. The cartridge was on the shelf; just put it in and plan to return the used one for recycling.
I run through about two of these a month on my HP Lazerjet. Never have any issues with the cartridges, but they are expensive. Buy the high capacity if you can b/c it’s more worth the price. 30% bonus rewards make up for the pain.
The HP 206A Cartridges are great when you can find them. Since purchasing this Printer we have had difficulty finding any stores or online suppliers that have inventory of these 206A cartridges in any color. We have resorted to looking online often checking inventories on these cartridges and when we see them in any color we purchase them to build a stockpile of all colors because we know we have to "catch them when we can" whether we need them at that moment or not. The cartridges are fine - just a little frustrated knowing that we have to search quite often to insure that we will not be out of toner.I love the printer also but will not recommend it because of the continual shortage of toner in the marketplace.
