I bought this to replace an existing HP Pavilion laptop. Having used the new machine for a few weeks its limitations are a little irritating. The lack of an RJ45 internet connector is something I can work around, but I had assumed that all laptops came with this, well they did. The lack of USB ports is the main bugbear, but seems to be common problem on laptops. I should have checked the specification more carefully.The biggest issue though is the keyboard. It feels very flimsy, a bit like something on a child's toy. I find it irritating to use as it moves when a key is pressed. Since buying the laptop three weeks ago I always have trouble connecting to the internet when starting up or after the laptop has been dormant for a while. The laptop sees and connects to the router but says there is no internet connection (which there is as all other devices are using it OK). If I restart the laptop it then connects fine. When using the HP help function you need to spend a long time trying to get through to someone even though you have a case ref but it is at least half an hour into the conversation anyone (useless bot included) seems to be interested on the info already lodged on the case. After that you still need to give the same info as on past calls. The laptop was delivered quickly and on the day I was told it was arriving.I am a complete tech idiot but with a little help this was quite easy to set up but I am still getting used to it and finding where things are. So far I don't have any negative things to say. It is very quick!It might be a bit basic for some, I honestly don't know as I went by other reviews before making my purchase and it is for personal use only. My criteria for my new laptop were price and storage, I then went looking for what seemed to be the best value for money for what I had decided I wanted to pay. At the time I made my purchase this item was on offer on the HP website and had good reviews so I bought it :)

Purchased early April 2024. A really good laptop with a very fast processor i5 1235U, programmes load and operate fast. Lightweight with a clear keyboard, caps lock has a little light on the key (why don't all makers do this?) so useful. Good storage 512gb SSD and 8gb memory. Everything positive so far. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a good value fast laptop. You can pay a lot more for a slower laptop.
Really liking it so far. I have the OLED option and the screen is bright and volume is great. I bought this for general purpose use (surfing internet, occasional netflix watching) and it's perfect. Everything seems to be working in excellent order. I actually had purchased a Dell Inspiron before this and hated it so much. This is way better.
This thing is 'bullet proof'...... Heavy duty 'business' dreadnaught!!! Only had it a short while, but it has proven itself a really well built, ready for anything BRUT!!! I think, in some ways, it 'out preforms' my MAIN computer. It definitely has a faster log on, log off. Also, the wifi is simply amazing. I need it for graphics with Adobe Photoshop, and for writing some stories and memories. I just love this thing.... I think in six states, I am currently engaged to it!!!! LOL
I have purchased the laptop with a mouse but when I opened the mouse to put the battery in, there was no usb connector inside the mouse. I called to the technic support and described my situation. I was told that they would send me another mouse. One week later not receiving any mail I called again to the technich support. That time I was told that I should ask to sales department. Okay, I call to sales department. I was asking the same questions. Like nobody wanded to solve my problem. I was treated like I was escaped from the forest and never saw the laptop or mouse. I was asked questions like are you sure it was no usb connector in it? Of course I am surre, I have seen mouses before! The HP Z2 G9 mini is a great computer. Nice and compact but not so small that the unit gets hot. I’ve got the same i7 model at work for using AutoCad etc and it’s been fine. The one I’ve bought has 16gb ram rather than 32 but have been told I can fit another 16gb if I need to. I bought a 27 inch hp monitor for £99 and they both arrived together screen quality is fine for us. The only slight frustration is that the monitor comes with an HDMI cable but the computer only has display ports so I needed a new cable from Amazon before I could get it working. Set up was really user friendly gave you some handy features to select.

I asked them to check the quality and they agreed its yellow and instead of resolving my issue they said its not a manufactuing issue. That series of laptop has the most cheapest display. The display has no colors and u will see white as pale and other colous faded. Excel sheet which is white on all laptops, on this laptop u will see it pale yellowish color. The vidoes on youtube or netflix will pixalate if the vidoe has any fast moving or action scenes. The disolay has a yellowish tint in it and real colours. I have checked alll the models have thae same cheap display and they call it as a feature abd gave jazz.
