Arrived, installed and working. Clearly brand new.Not as premium as what I am replacing - Dell 32" curved 60Hhz screen - but the picture quality and gaming perfirmance is on a different level. Usb hub and audio would have been handy but it was £188 after the discounts, so I cant grumble.As a business dektop it is more than adequate.As a media device - not so good. Seems to have a problem with brightness/contrast switching up and down for no obvious reason. I would investigate further if I was using it for that on a regular basis - I don't, it was bought for gaming and it does that very well.Very happy. Bargain. May be worth it for some of the other ofers on the same device.

This monitor is awesome, one of the best purchases I’ve done recently. It’s beautiful, the 32 inches size is impressive and the image is very pretty. If you want to play games, watch movies or improve productivity at your home office and do not want to break the bank, that’s the one to go. 100% recommend. One less star because the base could be a little bit more stable, but still worth buying, I paid less than £200 and I’m completely satisfied.

The monitor settings and on/off control are placed very inconveniently on the back of the monitor. Not an easy reach around and you do it blind unless you pull the monitor forward enough. otherwise liked everything else about it. The stand is very solid and user friendly and the screen is sharp.

I did a lot of research comparing LG, Dell and Samsung with this monitor. The specs on this thing are more than excellent and an IPS screen to boot, with 165 htz refresh and 1440P. Its basically a stripped down monitor with no frills or extras, but I must mention, for this price it is very well built with height and tilt adjustment and able to go into portrait mode. I had a good 32" Dell S3222DGM VA panel monitor that always looked washed out and had a lot of bleeding. Upon hooking up the Omen 32Q it was like night and day. Nice bright sharp colourful images, especially during gaming, and no backlight bleed what so ever on this one. Needed to replace my old HP 27" screen and was looking for the glossy screen I had been used to. I took a chance o the new matte finished screen in hope of not loosing that fine art look. I was pleasantly surprised. It does seem to be easier on my old eyes as I work in Photoshop hours each day. Great choice and it didn't break the bank!
Disappointed that they computer did not come with the correct HDMI cord to hookup to the harddrive purchases in the same order. Never had an issue where I buy something new and have to go and buy a cord to hook up the monitor to the harddrive. bought many apple products over the years and never a issue, first time i buy a HP and would have thought it would have been the same experience, unfortunately not.
This HP monitor is a fantastic monitor for the price, If you are looking for a 32 inch to wk monitor that has an IPS panel you cannot go wrong with this monitor. The colors when HDR mode is turned on in Windows 11 are fantastic HDR content on YouTube is breath-taking to the human eye In 2K. The interfaces very easy to navigate and the buttons to Navigate the menu is Second nature. I've compared this monitor to 3 other Samsung monitors and acer monitor

Personally, I use this monitor for both work and play, and it has more than accomplished what I needed in both areas. As far as gaming experience, I do wish the response times were higher, but all in all it's fine and I mostly play COD and some CSGO along with a few other competitive FPS games and it's such an awesome experience, but make sure you have a gpu that can push the monitors refresh rate and keep it as close to the 165hz as possible bc as long as you do this there's little to no ghosting whatsoever--to be honest virtually none at all. I have two builds (AM4 and AM5) but mostly game on my main pc (AM5) which is a Ryzen 7 7800x3d paired with a Radeon RX 7800xt and I get a consistent 165fps at 1440p high settings in many of my games including those listed above and let me tell you it's simply superb. Just make sure you select the right overdrive setting in the gaming tab, I have it on Level 3, it's a balancing act between having too much and too less...keeping in mind if you have it on Level 1 then depending on which game you're playing you will have some noticeable ghosting bc Level 1 is basically the off mode, while Level 5 is the highest/fastest setting, but should be avoided because it will introduce a lot of inverse ghosting/pixel overshooting where you will get faint trails of light vs the darker trails you would have in regular ghosting.BTW I tried this with a test build (ryzen 5600x and a 6650xt) and only achieved around 105-125fps and you can certainly see some ghosting in CODs MW 2019, MW II and MW III, but you can simply adjust settings to achieve better frames at a lower quality, but I always choose high settings, bc otherwise what's the point right? Oh and if you're wondering about input lag--there's none whatsoever, everything is very responsive (mice and xbox controller).One last thing, for those who have this thing for menu control buttons; I love the location and design of the button as it's just to right of the back panel in a diamond shape and quick access inputs are a huge plus. Additionally, the onscreen display is so convenient and easy on the eyes, I wish more monitor manufactures would take the care to make clean UIs without all the hard red or orange colors..this is a simple and clean dark grey background with white letters combination.Ok seriously this is the last "one last thing" I almost forgot about the Eyesafe technology my goodness it's so much better than my previous monitor's take on blue light and flicker..this monitor blocks blue light but not all, by filtering only the high intensity blue light frequencies so you still get your original full colors and not an orange or yellow hue on screen. No flicker at all if you worry and are sensitive to it as I am, bc this panel uses a true 8-bit panel depth and not something like 6-bit + FRC which is just an artificial method of increase colors which will also introduce temporal dithering aka flicker you cannot visually perceive or notice but your eyes will certainly feel it and will lead to eye strain and other discomforts; at least this was the case for me on some of my other displays. But with this panel it's such a joy and comfort to use.And my sincerest apologies if my review seems discursive and confusion...I'm writing this as I'm holding a 2 year old who just loves to move her busy little fingers all over anything on me or close to me (mice, keyboards, my collar, my ears, my nose, my thumbs, etc. haha).

The monitor does swivel to stand up in tablet form, but honestly with the normal flat screen bezel, its kinda awkward to look at xD Not a bad thing, you just kinda want that symmetry thing going on in a tablet form xD The only downside to this monitor is the fact that it does no have any additional usb ports, only simlpy the hdmi, display port, headphone, and power supply connections. No rgb effects. But the monitor quality itself is worth it. I will admit the monitor screen menu is very generic for most gaming monitors that give you a lot to pan through and adjust.
