This gaming laptop is so awesome! If you’re not looking for high end laptop, this is perfect you! Recommend for all ages. I received it packaged well and unboxing it was very nice. It has a nice sleek look to it. Opened it up and was ready to set it up. Setting it up was so easy and fast. Love all the different USB connections so you can plug in different laptop accessories. The laptop runs very smoothly and the picture on it is very clear. The games load up quickly. Lots of storage that I really love. Definitely easy to navigate after a couple of uses.

This is a great overall computer! I highly recommend for those that want something powerful and high quality that is also portable.... Lets go into details:-Screen: Great brightness, good clarity, 144Hz, and the matte screen keeps glare down significantly.-Speakers: The highest volume is a good level, they have okay bass but sound a little tinny and don't have the best clarity (but it's not terrible).-Performance: Once bloatware is removed, the hardware is more than capable of gaming, surfing the web, and doing almost anything else you can think of. With the RTX 3050 inside and the 12th-gen Intel Core i5 Processor, this thing is FAST and the graphics performance is great in the couple of games I tested.-Battery: Can drain quickly when gaming or doing things that ... MoreThis is a great overall computer! When doing that, I recommend being plugged into AC power. When just surfing the web or word processing, the battery lasts a significant amount of time.-Design: This thing looks really beautiful! I love the zig-zagging lines over the speakers, the color, the finish--it's fantastic.

Great entry level gaming computer. Boots up incredibly fast, and can load a video from Netflix faster than my Roku can. It is a little heavy, but it has a full keyboard (including a numeric keypad), and the sound is excellent, so there's going to have to be some trade-offs!Despite the very large screen, it fits well into most laptop backpacks, or at least the ones I had on hand. The graphics and colors are very crisp, and it had all the ports I would expect to need. The keyboard is backlit, the battery lasts forever and charges quickly, and I don't hear the fan much, so it's must be very quiet.Normally I use a Mac, so I did lose access to all my saved passwords and whatnot, but for games, and videos, this can't be beat. It has been a decent chunk of time since ... MoreGreat entry level gaming computer. Boots up incredibly fast, and can load a video from Netflix faster than my Roku can. It has been a decent chunk of time since I've used a PC, but I didn't find it to be that difficult to reacclimatize myself, and I thought it was actually more similar to a MacOS than I remembered. The only thing that surprised me was that the grey was a very dark grey, more like a charcoal, but that's so insignificant, it barely needs to be mentioned.

This is a beautiful laptop. Not only does it look great but it works amazingly well. The SSD drive makes this so much faster than a traditional drive. It starts up incredibly quick. It is a great laptop for everyday tasks such as getting on the internet. The gaming side of this is really great. It has enough RAM and a decent graphics card to play most games with ease. The picture is clear and crisp. It's not a top of the line gaming computer but it definitely is good enough for a light gamer. The battery life is great. The touch pad was a bit different than I am used to. It has the "mouse buttons" built in as opposed to being a separate area on the pad. I know many do but this is the first one for me like that. I do actually think I prefer it the way it is on this ... MoreThis is a beautiful laptop. Not only does it look great but it works amazingly well. It has the "mouse buttons" built in as opposed to being a separate area on the pad. I know many do but this is the first one for me like that. I do actually think I prefer it the way it is on this one. The keyboard lights up which is a really nice feature. Overall, I think this is a great gaming laptop for the occasional gamer.
This laptop works great to meet my needs and wants. Not big into gaming so this works for the games I have played (solitaire, puzzles and word games). Internet searching is quick and goes smoothly as well as watching videos they play with no issues. The screen is big enough without feeling too big. It is lightweight and folds so it is thin enough to fit in a backpack, laptop bag or even to carry under your arm. The charging cable is long enough if you don't have a close outlet. The charger is average size for a laptop and lighter than previous ones I've owned. Overall this laptop specifications meet for someone who wants to do light gaming, write papers, research using the internet or just watch videos.
This is a pretty good laptop. It has a very large screen and keyboard to work with. Even the speakers on this are pretty good for a laptop. With that side it is a little bulky and on the heavy side so I would have this be for a space that you need to be semi-mobile in. One feature I like a lot about the device is that it has a program that can slow down other programs in the computer from processing too much data while you play games so the computer can focus on great gameplay. They also added some nice modern features such as a unique font print on the keyboard. You also get windows 11 with us which I was surprised about. Overall this is a great starter laptop for anyone into gaming or looking to get into gaming.
This gaming laptop lives up to the hype! The screen graphics and colors are incredible, so crisp. For as much as it can do the device doesn't overheat and I don't hear the fan working too hard while playing. It's fast! Games downloaded in seconds (I do have high-speed internet), the set-up process was quick and easy. This is the first gaming laptop I've owned so it took me a little while to get used to the keyboard. The keyboard is a little off-center from the touch pad. It may seem silly but I am used to resting my hands on either side of the touch pad while typing and I kept typing 'd' instead of 's' because of where my hands are accustomed to falling. It wasn't an issue while playing the games but more of an annoyance while logging in and doing all the set-up. ... MoreThis gaming laptop lives up to the hype! A very nice computer, this is a nice size laptop. It was super easy to set up. It runs really fast and Windows 11 has been great so far. I haven’t had a single issue with it! I’m not a heavy gamer but I do sometimes throw one on and there have been no issues also the built in video camera and speakers have worked very well while I playing. Battery life seems to be really great! I haven't ran high-consumption programs but I have been typing and scrolling for a few hours and there is still a lot of power remaining. Another thing to note is that this laptop doesn't seem to get hot like others do when using it for extended periods. That is a bonus to me because no one wants to have to worry about overheating.
I bought this laptop not for gaming but because I needed something physically sturdy and with a good processor/plenty of RAM to replace my very old HP zBook workstation which is on its last legs. I read several reviews of the Victus 5 series and it seemed to suit my needs, particularly the mentions of max RAM of 32gb and the extra drive slot, so I could expand it myself as needed. I found several online from resellers but wanted to buy from somewere local in case there were problems. I couldn't find the documentation for this specific model on HP before buying but I figured it would be fine and I'd been shopping a new laptop for months (including a return of a flimsy underwhelming Pavilion) so I decided not to let the documentation issue bother me. I couldn't get the manuals until I registered (with difficulty) the laptop with HP. Unfortunately this specific model does NOT have a max RAM of 32GB, nor an extra drive slot, and it has had chronic screen blackouts/flashing that won't permanently resolve despite multiple self-help suggestions from HP and some other suggestions I found related to screen flashing in Windows 11. Today it disrupted my work several times until I finally put it away and dragged out my old zBook with its iffy keyboard. It's almost 30 days since I bought it, it hasn't been trustworthy enough to move all my data to and I'm giving up and returning it before the deadline. I really wish HP had been able to resolve this issue but I don't want to risk being stuck with a lemon. On the plus side, it does seem to be physically much sturdier than the Pavilion I returned, and the processor seemed to be quite responsive. I never tested my more resource-intensive stuff (SSMS, video editing/conversion with ffmpeg) but it multitasked well. Others seem to be having a better experience with theirs, so hopefully the issues I'm experiencing are rare.
Wow! This laptop is lightning fast! I have an older laptop that has been slowly chugging along but I knew a new laptop was needed in my future. Enter the HP Victus Gaming Laptop! I am not the most well-versed in what constitutes a great laptop in regards to speed, clarity, efficiency, etc but this one far exceeds any expectations I had in my mind. The start-up was very easy and fast and the screen clarity is amazing! I am not a gamer but would think this would be a very desireable laptop for a mid-level gamer. When accessing the internet, it does not miss a beat and connects quickly. It is fairly lightweight and not at all bulky. The touchpad has the perfect amount of sensitivity and the buttons are quiet. Nothing is worse than a loud keyboard! It charged quickly ... MoreWow! This laptop is lightning fast! It is truly a laptop that everyone in the family can use for all different types of activities and be happy with it!
