I was a little disappointed in the shipping time it took to receive the mouse. When it arrived, I thought it looked nice in the package , but when I opened it and took the mouse out, I was surprised at how flat it was compared to my previous hp mouse. (some buyers may like this feature) After using it for a few days, it seemed to become sluggish with the cursor hanging up as I tried to move it around in exploring various webpages. I am really trying to get use to it, but overall, it's not a product I would purchase again.

Pros: It is quiet, which is good, rather than having an annoyingly loud clicking sound, which can disturb those around you. It also seems very durable and reliable. The battery consumption also appears to be quite good. (I think it might switch to low power mode, if it isn't moved for a certain amount of time, in case you forget to turn it off.)Cons: What I didn't like is the flatness of it. I found it very difficult to get my hand and fingers comfortable over it and initially I found the buttons very difficult to press properly. If you press them on the front edge, they are quite stiff. (You have to position your fingers further back, which results in your hand being constantly held in a claw shape...)

This does not work!!! I waited almost a week for this after receiving my computer and I am still waiting for the plug for the wall. I am using the one from my old HP computer. I can't believe how much time I spent trying to figure out a simple thing and it still doesn't work. The only reason I bought this one was that I bought an HP Touch Screen and I wanted the mouse to be the same color....So, I will be sending this one back and continue to use the old mouse that I've been using for 6 years. Plus the price is twice the amount that HP charges. QVC you are really going downhill...Last year I sent back most of the Christmas stuff I bought because they were defective.

I brought this because of VOIP and because I've had TP-Link stuff before (a TG-VG3631). It was bought also with a view to using it with NBN (FTTC). This router syncs well with my ISP but has a lot of errors. The firmware/OS is old (the same error messages for VOIP appear now as in the 6 year old router) and the Web interface is even clumsier than the old router but I will live with it because of VOIP. The 5G wireless seems very short range, even at high power with lots of errors. The 2.4G has much better range but of course, much less throughput. It does run warm, but not too warm. I always mount it on a rack so there's enough air flow underneath. All in all, apart from slow web interface, old software and mediocre 5G performance, it's a good unit, with true GB LAN ... MoreI brought this because of VOIP and because I've had TP-Link stuff before (a TG-VG3631). Edit: It has no Quality of Service for VOIP so if you're uploading/downloading something that saturates your link, your VOIP will likely cut out. This is a backward step from previous VOIP routers from TP-Link. v1 of the router apparently had VOIP QoS but not this v2.
I bought this HP Z3700 Wireless Optical Mouse to replace another wireless mouse that turned out to have some incompatibility problems with Ubuntu. Plugging this in resolved all the issues and it has subsequently worked with 100% compatibility. Other advantages are: * it feels really well made * only uses a single AA battery * it lasts a huge length of time * it has an on-off switch to save even more power or to stop it from picking up false clicks if it's put in a bag or pocket * the combined battery/dongle cover isn't held in place with a physical catch bit to strong magnets at the rear. This works really well and is a really good way of keeping the lid on whilst making it very easy to remove and no likelihood of breaking. Any cons? Only one that ends up not ... MoreI bought this HP Z3700 Wireless Optical Mouse to replace another wireless mouse that turned out to have some incompatibility problems with Ubuntu. It's a very low mouse. At first this feels odd but once you've used it for a bit it isn't noticeable. It also ends up being an advantage if you are carrying it in a bag or pocket as it sits flusher.
This is the third mouse (of this design) I have bought. (I use one for my home laptop and one for work. I gave one to someone who was very pleased and happy with it.The design of the mouse is appealing. Itis light and fits well in my hand. Its sensitivity depends very much on the surface you use it on. Once you get the right surface it works well e.go it becomes overly sensitive on a really smooth surface or a smooth blue or light navy surface. I find a mouse pad or heavy paper works well.
I bought this to match a gold Acer Chromebook (I work from home on some days), and cosmetically I love it. Unfortunately, after a few months of use, I just can't take it any more. It has two critical flaws: 1) the tracking laser is not good. When I move the mouse, I expect the cursor to follow smoothly - this one moves intermittently and jittery, leaving your pointer not quite where you expected it, requiring you to move it again... repeat until it's where it should be. Super annoying. 2) the click buttons are too stiff or something. They are fine for clicking and double clicking - but if you need to hold a button down to highlight text or code, forget it. Even if you are pressing hard, it's as though the button is releasing and re-engaging, leaving your selected ... MoreI bought this to match a gold Acer Chromebook (I work from home on some days), and cosmetically I love it. Even if you are pressing hard, it's as though the button is releasing and re-engaging, leaving your selected text as some sub-portion of what you actually intended to highlight - or worse, if you moved at all off that line of text and the mouse was over something else for a moment. Really bad. It could be the radio causing both sets of issues - who knows? Maybe it's intermittently cutting out signal and re-engaging, causing both the unsmooth motion and button hold issue. It doesn't matter, it's been consistently bad since day one. So, even though it matches my gold chromebook - I need a mouse that works without frustration.
I really wanted to love this mouse - it's slim and compact and a great size for a mobile mouse, it has the option of wireless or bluetooth (I don't like bluetooth mice because they frequently disconnect) with a self-contained dongle, it also advertises great battery life and it's pretty inexpensive. My main problem is the buttons - they feel mushy and soft and sometimes they don't click completely. Occasionally I'll even miss clicks. It just makes the whole experience of using the mouse not very smooth and a little jarring. Furthermore, the sensor seems just mediocre to me and seems to occasionally skip around although this doesn't happen very often. All in all, it's not a bad mouse, it's just not quite what I prefer. I prefer the feel and performance of the surface mouse mobile but my problem with that mouse is it's bluetooth only and has connection issues. I am going to likely end up paying more for a higher-end Logitech mobile mouse.
Great mouse for traveling, no nonsense magnetic cover on the top for battery and dongle storage is a great feature. Works really well on a variety of surfaces, including granite countertops. Short form-factor may cause fatigue in hand during extended use. Small-diameter scroll wheel may feel clunky, but wider wheel allows more finger grip to turn. Takes some getting used to (5 minutes). Five stars if they could make this mouse pop-up 1/2"-3/4" higher on extended-use days, and maybe relax the spring for the scroll detent just a little for easier scrolling.
The good: This installed to my windows machine seemlessly and works without flaw. It has a USB A style dongle that plugs into a spare USB port and works from BIOS/UEFI without need for a seperate driver. Precision wise, I have used if for standard wordprocessing stuff and for graphics editing just fine. The bad: If you don't have many spare USB ports then the need to plug in a dongle might be inconvenient. I have tried to run it off the computer's built in bluetooth but I haven't found a way to make it discoverable. I also tried in my MacMini (M1 version); it connected just fine and works 99% of the time, but every now and again it just lags and the mouse cursor becomes frozen on the screen. It's not advertised as a mouse for Mac but its slick design would fit ... MoreThe good: This installed to my windows machine seemlessly and works without flaw.
