not B&H fault, but at store they told me same as Z40C, and not have z40C in stock, so I ordered the z38C, NOT THE SAME THING.
I use this with a GTX 1070 card, at its native resolution of 3840 x 1600. It's Max at 60hz but that's perfectly fine and easy on the eyes when working on video and photos. Mostly use it for office applications and spreadsheets. It's been a few months and I love the curved shape over any flatpanel. For the price this is a formidable contender VS the Dell, LG, Asus and Samsung equivalents in the Sam eprice category. In some cases this is even better built than some of the plastic stuff others make.
This monitor is the perfect size to replace a two monitor setup, and without the bevel. Unlike other monitors, the cables connect vertically. This means if kids pull the chords theyll be less likely to be damaged compared to the LG horizontal cable connections.1600 vertical lines is the best resolution at this time, I think. And this monitor looks great and works great. It is not too large at all, easy to use the horizontal extent while working. The curve is nice. After having for a free weeks, I wouldnt want anything smaller or flat.Compared to other monitors, the style is more conservative, which is nice for those who arent trying to make any social statements or follow a trend.Highly recommended.
After thirteen years with my old, reliable, small, low-resolution HP monitor, I upgraded to this beauty. I have been very happy with the performance, visual accuracy, and build quality. It worked out of the box with my 2019 MBP 16. I wrestled with this choice in the now-crowded space of similar monitors, but I have had no regrets about this purchase after more than a month of pretty-much daily use. Also couldn't be happier with B&H's purchasing process, shipping, etc. This is my second purchase from B&H after being almost exclusively an Amazon guy. It will definitely not be my last.
As someone who stares at computer screens all day, these curved monitors are a big improvement over flat screens. I'm glad I got it. It was a bit expensive and if you go between mac and pc a lot as I do, there are some quirks to these monitors, but once set up, it's pretty reliable and the colors are very nice.
Wonderful image, sorely lacking speakers like the U3818DW
setup couldn't have been easier. truly plug and play. no fiddling required. the screen is sprawling and gorgeous. the box it comes in is huge -- its mostly packing material. this thing is packed well. once its on your desk its heavy and sturdy and will stay in place, but is also easily adjustable - up and down and tilt.just gorgeous.
