HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5 Grey

The FreeBuds Pro 5 offer first-class sound quality, noise cancellation, connectivity, comfort and call performance. The third-generation, in-house developed audio chip doubles the processing power of the previous generation and improves AI processing by a factor of 10. The earbuds offer the industry’s first lossless sound quality and have received HWA Lossless and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certifications. Their unique, independent dual-cavity design on the rear, combined with independent dual-DAC frequency-division technology, delivers a wide frequency range from 10 Hz to 48 kHz, thereby achieving the sound quality of professional-grade wired earphones. The AI Dual-Engine noise cancellation extends the active noise cancellation range to 6 kHz, representing a 120 per cent improvement in effectiveness compared to the previous generation. Wearing comfort and fit have been improved, making these earphones Huawei’s most comfortable and secure in-ear headphones. The ‘Stable & Clear Calls’ function has been enhanced with a neural network NPU, which increases AI processing power tenfold compared to the previous generation. Using three microphones and bone conduction, the generative multi-channel DNNnetwork system enhances the suppression and restoration of call audio in medium- and high-noise scenarios, ensuring clear calls in environments with noise levels of up to 100 dB and wind speeds of up to 10 m/s. The FreeBuds Pro 5 supports a wide range of smart functions. The adaptive audio function adjusts the volume based on ambient noise and recognises your voice to switch between noise control modes. The earbuds meet IP57 standards for dust and water resistance and are Huawei’s first in-ear TWS earbuds to support IPX7 water resistance. A full charge provides up to 9 hours of music playback, and the charging case extends this to 38 hours.
