This Huawei smart phone is very fast on opening and surfing on websites. It's also outstanding on multi-tasking like playing games or opening multiple pages and synchronize. The 3 cameras really take great pictures with 40mp and 8mp on the optical zoom but the middle 40mp wide angle takes the best photos and the camera has many best function to choose for your best pictures. Besides its pro on the software system. This phone has the very long life of 4,200 mAh battery and the phone can easily standby for a week without a charge. But the battery cell like the iPhone,it can not be replaced by the user. I don't play games but I use the phone on checking e-mails and surfing the Internet and at night when time to go to bed,the battery still remaining at 92%. I was hesitated before purchasing the phone because Huawei phones are not selling in the US and lately are not supporting by Google play and some other major software systems. But the this p30 pro model and other Mate Pro models beyond 30 are still good and smooth on Google play market like LG or Samsung. I use my friend's Iphone 12 pro max for testing with this huawei p30 pro. I phone is slightly speeding on games and screen pictures colors but the Huawei is slightly faster on opening on webpages and surfing the Internets and sometimes on some gamer. The iphone is very, very slightly faster than this 256gb on the internal memory(can be added up to 128gb on the external NM card) and 8gb on the RAM but the iphone is 5 times costly than this p30 pro.

First of all, the service offered by John Lewis is brilliant. The exchange promotion and the two year guarantee gives the assurance the product would be good and it's money's worth.Secondly in regards to the phone. Coming from Samsung s8 to p30 pro noticed that the screen is not the best but after a few days since there is nothing to compare with one forgets about it. Screen is good. The camera is good no complaints on that dept, photos are vivid and beautiful.Sound quality is good and calls are crisp and clear. The fingerprint reader works fine and is quick.Couple of things which bugs me is the position of the volume keys next to the power button, this should have been thought through. Software even though it runs on Android Huawei has added it's known design ... MoreFirst of all, the service offered by John Lewis is brilliant. There is update coming so hopefully it will fix it.Best thing battery, immersed with the battery that last 2 days with moderate use of listening to music on daily commute (Bluetooth) checking emails and news throughout the day. Definitely happy with not having to worry too much running out of battery midday.Overall an excellent product and would be keeping it for at least next two years or more.

I've had one of these phones for years, I've recently purchased this phone for my son as it jad such amazing features to it. The 50x zoom to the moon where the detail you see on the surface from a far is just amazing. The storage is. Plenty, the 4K video recording is on another level. The phone itself is fast, never have any problems with it, and overall, its worth such a buy. I couldn't recommend this phone enough, it's got to many features to it that you will forever be finding.

Bad first: I bought the phone a few weeks ago and when the phone arrived it was the wrong colour but since I needed the phone for business I had no time to send it back and receive the model I ordered. Having been sent the most feminine colour I had to exchange the full glass case I bought for one that was not transparent which was very frustrating. To add to the problems I was not sent a charger, only a dual c cable which does not work with a USB plug and I've still not got a proper charger for it. I fortunately already had a c charger but it was not one able to take advantage of the phones super supercharge speed and the correct plugs are expensive and hard to find. The phone does not sit well with crystal screen protectors so after 2 I resorted to a sticker ... MoreBad first: I bought the phone a few weeks ago and when the phone arrived it was the wrong colour but since I needed the phone for business I had no time to send it back and receive the model I ordered. I fortunately already had a c charger but it was not one able to take advantage of the phones super supercharge speed and the correct plugs are expensive and hard to find. The phone does not sit well with crystal screen protectors so after 2 I resorted to a sticker protector which works a lot better as it sticks down without problems. The phone despite my complaints came well within reasonable time and well packaged despite not coming with the original box (which was fine for B class) and although it never had a screen protector or case, it came without any scratches or scuffs and worked as new. Screen is bright, clear responsive without any delay except sometimes the keyboard letters stay highlighted we'll after they have been pressed which is not a big deal but can be annoying. Google and play store are in this phone and all my business related apps run smooth without any concerns or speed problems. Battery life is plenty for it's use, clocking around 1.8 days of reasonable use from a full charge. The screen is great and does not feel dated at all which for a price this low is great provided you are not comparing it to phones over £600. The camera is as good as you have heard and that goes for both video and camera. Deffo only go for the pro if it does not stretch the budget. Overall the phone is great and would deffo recommend to everyone, especially from cex as the 2 year warranty is something you want when buying used electrical goods.
I've had this phone for a while now. Huawei never let me down. As for the quality.. I expected some scratches etc so that's fair enough. My expectation on how the phone would arrive may have been higher in my head. The phone was dirty with grubby finger marks all over and a crust of dirt around the lenses. Whenever I've sold an item I clean it thoroughly... Also it never came with the Huawei charger which any one with a smart phone knows now, that the correct fast charge helps keeps the battery in healthy condition instead of a standard USB generic charger.. Lucky for me I have one already but anyone else may have been slowly killing their battery by using the charger CEX provided. All in all.... Do better.
This phone was rated as class B, I can only assume that's because it didn't come in original box..... The phone doesn't have a single mark/scratch or scuff on it..... The phone is 100 percent like new and I absolutely love it.Great service and very fast delivery. The phone itself is in my opinion all I will ever need from a phone, the camera is outstanding and the speed and performance is excellent.Charging the phone is super fast alsoFor anyone that may be concerned..... Good Points: The phone has good mid-range and telephoto cameras and good clear screenImprovement Points: This model suffers from severe design flaws. I have compared 2 P30 Pro phones side by side so I am certain this is not a one-off problem:(1) The GPS is inaccurate and wanders when the phone is stationary.(2) The compass needs recalibration literally every five minutes.(3) The AI measuring device is highly inaccurate - over 10% out on several occasions - so worse than using a ruler!(4) Photo location tagging is always incorrect, despite following various. recommended fixes - both phones I compared got my home address completely wrong.(5) The audio quality is shockingly bad for a phone of this price.(6) Some aspects of the quad camera system are good, as ... MoreGood Points: The phone has good mid-range and telephoto cameras and good clear screenImprovement Points: This model suffers from severe design flaws. Apart from the telephoto camera function this was a mistake! The phone was delivered to me in minimal packaging with no protection, which doesn't help - although all the above are inherent flaws in this phone range.
Good Points: The screen size of the phone is very generous, crisp and raw. It's beautiful. I also really enjoy and have enjoyed the features in this phone. Such as 'Dark mode' and 'Eye Comfort'. I also really am a big fan of the way you can get around this phone. For example, pressing back or to get out of an app or to see which apps are open-you use the screen for all of these and at first its a little confusing, but you get really into it quickly. Additionally, it was effortless to set up. Great device and Battery life holds well. If you're a constant user, you will notice that your battery may not hold as well as other phone users claim it lasts, however I have noticed that's just mainly down to how much you use your device and how long it's on for. The phone battery still lasts a great amount of time. There's no point of using battery saver on this phone and that feels amazing.Improvement Points: I expected fast charging to be quicker than it is. It does charge fast, however not as fast as I've heard others claim, however it does charge very well, even when you're on the phone. Another downfall is that, when it charges, the phone gets warm/hot - which isn't the greatest to be honest. Additionally the phone sometimes closes apps on its own. I've also had other users tell me that it freezes or glitches, however I haven't experienced that problem at all. The only thing I have had experienced, is the phone randomly closing an app when I'm typing so I have to open it up back again. This does get quite annoying sometimes. However it all might be to do with gesture control as I do type very fast so maybe I'm doing something to make the app close itself down.
The phone itself is fine, but the accessories aren’t original. The headset doesn’t work, and the charger isn’t a 40W fast charger as promised—it only charges 4% in 20 minutes. Plus, the serial number on the box doesn’t match the phone, so I’m not sure if any problems will come up for the mobile in the future. Overall, the phone is okay, but the accessories are a letdown.
