This is the powder that converted me to loose powder. I used to prefer pressed powder before this one. Then I began using this one with the Bake and Blend brush by Huda to bake and I absolutely love it. My makeup looks so smooth and lasts so long. The brush is great for dusting off bake. I have Pound Cake and Cupcake. Cupcake is a bit too pink but Pound Cake is perfect for my fair golden skin. The shades stretch quite a bit across skin tones. The packaging works well at dispensing the accurate amount of product if you tap the bottom of the jar before opening. The smell is amazing. It’s my favorite scent of all my makeup with the exception of maybe Fenty powder. I don’t think it’s too strong at all. If you don’t want to bake you can dust it on and it sets makeup ... I definitely recommend this powder, even to those who have had an awkward time with loose powder in the past.

This Huda Beauty Easy Bake setting powder is decent. It’s an easy to use loose powder that is made for all skin types. It’s supposed to create an airbrushed, long lasting complexion, blur my pores and fine lines and hold my makeup in place. So far this powder has been really good. It literally made my under eye are look so smooth and my pores nonexistent. I like this shade Pound Cake more than Sugar Cookie shade because it looks less powdery on my skin. This shade looks more natural to my skin tone. It lays on the skin light and makes you look smooth and Evan. I like that only a small amount of powder comes up at a time, making it easier to apply and less messy. It’s not drying or very heavy on my skin. I take a beauty blender and press it on my skin to set then I use my blending brush to remove any excess. It has a light pleasing scent that I like but does go away fairly quickly. It does give my skin a smooth surface without being heavy or cakey looking. I have gotten a few compliments on my makeup looking so smooth. But at $38 dollars is more expensive than more drugstore choices out there. But so far I really like the way it looks and feels on my skin and I would repurchase it in the future. .

Omg this did not dissapoint 😍 It’s a hefty price tag but when you do the math, I paid 32 euros for this and you get 21 grams. For my elf halo glow powder I paid 10 euros or so and only got 6.8 grams! I did some research into setting powders and was hesitating between this powder and Ben Nye but decided to get this. It’s a beautiful soft matte and gets a bit less matte during the day but in a non greasy way. I am fair and used this over my loreal tinted serum foundation in 0.5-2 very light and picked the shade pound cake for this powder. I was struggling to pick a shade cause the shade range is a bit alternative but this worked absolutely fine. New holy grail! Looks good on my pores too. Much prefered over the elf halo glow powder. It feels kinda unhealthy inhaling this when you apply the powder…

I was excited to try this product bc of all the rave reviews. I was impressed with its blurring abilities, but I don’t feel it lasted as long as other powders I’ve used. But more importantly, it irritates my eyes which has never happened to me before with a setting powder! After setting my under eyes, I noticed my eyes kept watering in the outer corners throughout the day, which flaked off my eyeliner which normally never budges. I also noticed I get gunk (sorry to be gross) in the inner corners of my eye by the end of the day. I used the powder sparingly and don’t feel I put it directly in my eye. Once I discontinued using the powder, my makeup went back to normal. There clearly are some irritants in this powder. Perhaps the unnecessary fragrance? Disappointing!
I have tried many setting powders in the market for my face and my under eye area (all types of Laura Mercier, Lancome, IT...). I am 50 and I have dry skin and dry under eye area. I realize that by hydrating my skin well and correctly, I can use powder to set my make up and make it last for hours. I prefer the matte look with a very light highlight, over the dewy look, as the dewy look tends to emphasize my skin flaws more (wrinkles, lines and texture). Besides, since I have T-zone (even though I have dry skin), the dewy look makes my skin look more oily toward the end of the day. I tried Huda Beauty Setting Powder and they actually work. I use Pound Cake for my under eye with Tarte Shape Tape concealer, Banana Bread for evening make up and Blondie for day time make ... I use Pound Cake for my under eye with Tarte Shape Tape concealer, Banana Bread for evening make up and Blondie for day time make up (as in my office, we just installed all the brightest white lighting and I do not want to look "pale" under those lights). My make up lasts all day long and stays matte without the dryness or caky problem. The key thing is that I use a glow primer underneath my "fabric" foundation and then apply this setting powder. Totally happy and pleased with the result of this product!!!
I’ve been using this product over the last few weeks to beat my face for special occasions and girllll, this setting powder is it! This powder completely brought my makeup to another level!!!! Holy cow I never thought powders could GET this good until I tried Huda. I dabbled in Laura Mercier and MUFE which were good, but Huda is at a whole different level. My skin is smooth, brightened and even, great oil control and most importantly it looks so natural like I have perfect skin. Doesn't cling to my dry patches and doesn't disintegrate or seperate over time. This is literally the best powder I've used and I am overly impressed. Many reviews mention the fragrance but it's only the strongest when you open it, doesn't smell once you start using it but I agree, quite unnecessary I would prefer without fragrance too. I use it all on my T-zone and undereyes with a puff after setting spray. This powder ... MoreThis powder completely brought my makeup to another level!!!! My holy grail powder was discontinued (Cover FX Matte Setting Powder), so i've been trying other powders. This Huda powder is great in that it gives a airbrushed look minimising pores and fine lines. Oil control isn't as good as my previous powder, but I have incredibly oily skin so this is an issue for me with most powders. If I compare Huda to another powder - Laura Mercier - that tends to be popular - I would say that Laura Mercier has better oil control, however I prefer Huda Powder due to how it looks on my skin - very natural looking, and as I said blurring away imperfections. Laura Mercier in contrast settles into fine lines that I didn't even know I had! And LM looks flat. So I prefer Huda overall because it looks great and natural. Just a shame oil control ... When I say this stuff changed the whole game for my face make-up, I mean it. This stuff is worth every penny. I have normal to dry under eyes, and many powder look cakey, patchy, or settle into the lines, This one is like heaven. The scent is wonderful, and when I used a powder puff with it on my under eyes i GASPED at how much it brightened and smoothened. Great for carving out contour as well. My only critique is that the cover for the powder is pretty hard to get off, so it kind of puffs into a cloud and explodes everywhere when you try to open it. Despite that, I will repurchase this powder every single time. If you are waiting on cherry blossom, I would argue this peachy color gives a more natural but still pink powder affect, give it a shot!!
So i have been using Laura Mercier’s loose powder for well over 2 yrs. It works well to set my foundation, finely milled, mattifies, value for money. Honestly no complaints. However. The translucent shade became too light for my medium skin tone with neutral undertones. I considered the next deepest shade but found it too yellow. Subsequently i came across Huda beauty and could not decide between pound cake or banana bread. In the end i decided to buy banana bread as it could help neutralise my redness better & probably not too light as well. Verdict: ✔️ Packaging- good, tight, comes with an inner lid and a cap that clicks in place.✔️ Can be used with brush or beauty blender✔️ Sets makeup well, mattifies though not sure about how other says it looks like a filter ✔️ ...
