It was actually very convenient timing that I received this (gifted by Huda Beauty) because I'm scraping the last remnants out of the two concealers that I've been using and I had been wanting to try something new anyway. To be honest, I hadn't even really considered this particular concealer because it's supposed to have a luminous MATTE finish and because I have dry skin I'm always a little bit wary of products that specifically claim to be matte because I find that any dryness on my face tends to get emphasized.I'm actually pleasantly surprised that this works well for me! It doesn't appear overly matte on my skin; it just has a slightly soft, velvety appearance. I prefer to set any concealer with a little bit of powder and I don't notice that the powder seems to stick or cling unflatteringly with this. The wear time is great and even by the end of the day I can definitely appreciate that my concealer has actually managed to hold strong and not fade significantly.One thing that I actually really love about this is the doefoot applicator! It's very soft and just slightly chubby but it has the perfect curvature to it that somehow just applies concealer beautifully.I genuinely wasn't sure if I would like this or not but now that I've had a good chance to use it I find myself actually wanting to reach for this over my other two concealers which, as a result of trying this one, I still haven't quite finished yet. Considering that I was very skeptical about how this would wear on my dry skin and now finding that it works perfectly well, I'm inclined to think that quite a few different skin types

As you can clearly see in my pictures I went one shade too light. However, on my face it looks way better than my hand, I also only used my finger to blend it in the picture and didn't use any setting powder. So, onto the concealer, the coverage is absolutely amazing. It's definitely a medium to full coverage concealer. I love the gorgeous matte finish and the fact that it didn't crease, settle into any fine lines, or feel greasy. It's very lightweight and doesn't feel like you're wearing anything. Amazing Concealer

This product was gifted by Huda Beauty in exchange for my honest opinion. My concealer is in the shade, Coconut Flakes-2.7N. I love the container, it's short and square bottomed so it stands nicely. It has a really large fat applicator of which the curved shape and softness are nice but the size ot it makes trying to get a small amount, such as in the inner corner of my eye area impossible with its large dispensing wand tip. It also drags across the top of the container when inserting it back into product. It's pretty messy around the area the cap screws onto after a couple insertions. I really dislike messy dispensing that requires constant cleaning of my products to keep them at their best. The shade I received was the best matching concealer shade I have ever had with any brand. It blended and melted into my skin very well and took a second coat on my most difficult to conceal areas smoothly and added the coverage I needed. After a full day of wear this product has not settled into my fine lines or created creases. My undereyes remained bright and cleanly concealed until I removed the product. This product has no discernable fragrance and does not transfer, it passed my husband snuggle test.Would I purchase this product, absolutely but with wand anxiety. I really love the product, I just need a skinnier wand for more precise application and less mess of the container.

Best for dewy/oily skin

I have a love-hate relationship with matte concealers, but I love Huda, so I thought I would give this a try. It’s definitely long wearing, but with that comes the inevitable dryness that pretty much all matte, long wearing concealers have, with the exception of Hourglass Vanish. I tried applying it with both a concealer brush and a damp beauty sponge, and I definitely liked the finish of the sponge side better. I did prep my skin with a dewy eye cream. The product is hard to evenly distribute with the bristles of a brush, and I found that I got some brushstrokes and also just too much product, which ended up sort of drying and flaking a bit. The sponge side looked much more natural and still wore just as long. I prefer a thin layer for medium coverage. It does fine at covering my scars and blemishes without building up. I chose the shade Butterscotch (7.5 G), which specifies a golden undertone, but I do find it a bit too red/orange. I do find the redness can be downplayed with powder. To me, it leans more matte than luminous, as I don’t see any real brightening of my undereye area. It does even out my tone well, and I like that it doesn’t settle into my fine lines. After watching numerous videos I settled on “meringue” which is the perfect mix of light but not too brightening which is what I would of had if I had gone with my original choice, “Royal icing”.
