Started using them from bubs birth at the hospital and tried a few others along the way but they are undisputed the best for absorption and quality. Like most nappies, they also have the urine line on the outside to help with wet nappy detection, which is great.Price is fair and you can always buy them on special at local retailers. Nappy size is quite accurate for baby as they grow and gain weight. My baby just got to 5 kilos and is still wearing newborn but can tell she will be transitioning to the next size in the next 2 weeks as per the recommended size on the box.Quite happy with the quality and if fitted correctly on baby, explosions and wees escaping aren't an issue.

The Huggies new born nappies are absolutely amazing! But unfortunately super expensive!These have been great for our little one.. we were given a few different types at our baby shower but these ones were the best with preventing leaking, containing poops and also seems better all round,The quality of the nappies themselves are fabulous, they are thick but not ristricting and bubs doesn’t get rashes from them either.I also love the cute designs too!

These were supplied for use in the hospital during our stay and I understood why soon after returning home.We had received some trials of different brands and they didn’t even compare to these! We had also bought another brand on friends recommendations and that too just didn’t compare.These are by far the best quality and we never had a single leak or blowout. We quickly reverted back to these for the entire newborn period after all others trialled were simply disappointing.Can’t recommend these more highly!

We stocked up on Huggies nappies prior to bub arriving and are so glad we did.We received many trial nappies in the lead up to bubs arrival and decided to go with Huggies as a known brand at first and to trial the other options before he hit the next size.Ultimately we have stuck with Huggies as they are leaps and bounds ahead of other brands.They fit well, have great absorbency and the little line at the front to indicate wetness is super helpful.We have rarely had and leaking nappies and bub often feels rather dry despite having a wet nappy.
We have been testing out lots of nappy brands including the Huggies newborn. Although I find them abit smaller then other brands they fit our baby girl well. Have had no leakages, there breathable and soft. I love that the line changes colour when the nappy is wet and the line is really obvious which is handy. And each nappy has the word back on them which is so handy in the middle of the night. I would recommend to partners about to have a baby.
We have been purchasing the Huggies Newborn Nappies since our son was born 6 weeks ago and are still using.They are quite reliable nappies, the wetness indicator is very helpful and the nappies are well padded.My only fault with these nappies is that because our son was born so small (2.7 kg) these did not 100% fit him for the first few weeks.They were big all round and we were folding them to better fit. As they were so big we were also frequently experiencing leaks. Over time he has gotten a bit bigger and the nappies now better fit him.We will continue to keep using and will be purchasing the next size up when our son is ready.
I have been using Huggies newborn size 1 since birth (currently 11 weeks) I found Huggies to hold great amounts of wee, no leaks through the night however we have had at least 4 poo leaks on the legs (even with the ruffles untucked), the sizing on the box recommends up to 5kg. I do believe with baby getting closer to moving up a size is impacting the nappies holding ability (although still under 5kg). I think although leakages have happened 4 times out of the many nappy changes done per day for 11 weeks is pretty good and I would recommend this product for newborns. Love the super soft material, perfect for newborns skin. Nice and absorbent however I found that they seemed to swell quite a lot quite quickly compared to other brands I had tried. I also experienced a few leaks while using these nappies. I switched back to another brand as I found these a little too expensive and found the cheaper ones just as good. Would buy these in future if they weren’t so expensive as I do really like the look and feel of them.
Love newborn Huggies nappies. They are soft and i find they do not give my baby nappy rash like other brands do. I mostly love the little bum pouch it collects babies poo so there are less chance of leaking up the back. They are also a good fit around the waist.I do find them to always be big on my kids from birth but they grow into them fast. I also love that they now have two sizes of newborn nappies so if you have a bigger bub you can get the size two but still with the newborn comfort. They also have a line that changes to blue so you know if your newborn has urinated.
