Took me long enough but I finally added this flanker of Hugo by Hugo Boss into my collection. This is a rendition of the 1995 classic Hugo Man. This version is a Eau de Parfum concentration. I absolutely love this one as it does remind me of the 90s! That was a good decade for fragrances! This flanker is a more mature modern version. It does have the original DNA in it with that green apple in the opening. As it dries down I do get the lavender, sage and cedarwood. This fragrance keeps you fresh from beginning to end. Performance is pretty decent. I got at least 8 hours on my skin with a good hour and a half of projection. Fragrance is hard to evaluate. What smells good to one person may stink to the next one...I really like the fragrance, however theres something in it when I take my first whiff that makes my nose itch like I want to sneeze but I dont. Once it settles in, the itch feeling goes away. Its a light fragrance, not super woodsy or musky like so many mens fragrances are.The presentation is excellent nice looking box and great bottle. I love the way the cap is strapped on so you dont lose it.Sadly, my husband doesnt like it. Hes had Hugo Boss before, not sure which of the fragrances of the family, and he was excited to try this.
