Picked up 2 of these doors today. Very poor quality. One of them has a chunk of timber missing around the glass panel and they have slapped some big in to try and fix it.

Either Hume Doors or Bunnings need to put a GREAT BIG WARNING LABEL on these "DURACOTE" DOORS,people who are un-aware like myself and many thousands of others out there, i had my doors almost perfectprimed with 3 in one and a good quality exterior paint !! a light sand of the door before applying the 3 in oneprimer and low and behold doors perfectly dry, and you can run your nail down it and scrap the paint off !!Was i cranky omg yes i was, people need to understand a bit more about the "DURACOTE" THE GREENSTUFF that there primed in, its not a normal primer !! and your 3 in one and light sanding before paintingwill NOT work, so now ive got hours of work to do to sand them back !! This was my first time fitting a door. I had all the right tools so I trimmed the height and width to size with a circular saw on some saw horses. I also fitted a lock no problem. Just remember that the window prevent the lock from being too high but there is plenty of room for a normal install.

Good door, albeit expensive for what it is. BIG PROBLEM as noted by many others is the primer is terrible! I used best dulux exterior paint with my spray gun- 2 coats and still peels with your nail. Next time i would give it a light sand to key the next coat or evn sand and prime again with zinnser or similar.

Note that you need a special primer when painting this door due to the epoxy acrylate finish (Duracote) used. Start with 220 grit to scuff the surface, dust it all down. Don't be stingy with the primer (Dulux precision maximum strength adhesion, I/N 1400848) before topcoating.I also had a good experience going straight to taubmans endure exterior, not sure how the new allweather exterior will go.For practical reasons I am glad I went with a half-light door, my hallway would be really dark without its glass pane.
The paint started peeling off (even after using a good primer) and the door warped after a couple days. Would not recommend as an external door.
I brought this product 12 months ago, within a month of install the veneer had warped and the whole door has warped vertically. A Hume rep has viewed, but still no report, reply or contact, we have been in touch with Bunnings several times to chase up, but still no replacement
Not a solid door so I wouldn't call it an entrance door. It's more an internal office door. Way overpriced for the quality.
Great product. Good quality. Product was ready earlier than anticipated which was timely. When we went to collect it from our local Bunnings it took quite some time for staff to find it! However, this gave us a chance to do some more planned in-store shopping. The staff were incredibly apologetic and polite.
