The bladder is light weight yet durable. Wide mouth allows for easy filling and adding ice on those hot days.Nice to have the volume increments on the side. The bite valve works perfectly and does not leak.

This looks like the most feature rich bladder on the market however I ended up going with the HydraSleeve Reservoir 3L because it has a bigger opening. The opening for the Contour Hydration Reservoir 3L is smaller by a few cm making it harder to get my hand into to clean.I like how this bladder has the tube opening on one side of the bladder and there is a handle to hand the sleeve inside out for cleaning. Great design features.

Love it! Being able to reach in and turn inside out is fantastic! Glad I stayed in the 3L HydraPak family. I am very satisfied with the side placement for the plug and play. The old centered spot was annoying when fully filled and in my pack.

Works great with my osprey backpack. I love the quick disconnect for the drink tube.
Have just started using this and so far I love it! Much better than my old camelback. Easier to fill- the holding strap works great. Much better bitevalve and I like the magnet to keep the hose in place
This is the second Hydrapack bladder I have purchased and I like the improvements. The detachable hose from the bag and the ability to turn inside out for cleaning and drying is a nice feature. My first bladder succumbed to insect spray leaking onto it and dissolving the plastic bladder while in my backpack :( Used this new one today and very happy with it and the water flow.
I got this to replace my decade old Platypus because I saw good reviews and I liked the balance between the weight and the features in preparation for hiking the Wonderland trail. I did like using it but it sprung a leak as I was starting a section that was totally exposed with no water sources. Good thing I noticed it early and was able to transfer much of the water to other containers, and eventually patch it up for the final day. But if this happened earlier in the trip, it would have been a huge headache. I did see multiple reviews mentioning durability concerns but didn’t expect it to rip on a first trip…I don’t think I will ever feel comfortable buying Hydrapak, unfortunately
Great bladder. Use it for bikepacking, in a frame bag. The quick disconnect is well designed. Would be cool to see a bladder designed to fit even better in a framebag.
