This is a great cup, but let's face it - it's a cup. I have older Yeti (a gift) and RTIC tumblers and they work fine, but this is a better design with the built in handle, silicone straw and powder-coat finish. I got the "Dew" color, which is almost a seafoam green but slightly lighter. It's very well made, looks nice and keeps my water cold for many hours. And because Dew was a discontinued color it was a bargain. I also purchased the Hydro Flask small bottle boot which fits snugly and I feel is a great accessory for it. The silicone straw is my favorite feature. I use a stainless straw in my Yeti tumbler and it doesn't have a nice mouth feel AND I have tipped it over and spilled it more than once. Everything about it feels very high quality, from the finish, to the straw, to the stainless steel lip (If you happen to use it as a cup). I’m really happy with my tumbler. it fits in my car console. Say I buy a drink. Fast food cups can be flimsy and they can spill so I can pour that into my Hydro flask and be assured that it Will not spill in my vehicle and it will stay cold and stay Colder longer than it Does in t food cups. That’s the last thing you wanna do is spill a drink down into that console. It happened to me one time because they did not have the lid on their tight enough. The shift was never the same after that. And I was a big drink. The old guy looked at me and made a face while it was him. And then another time I got a drink in a defective cup, and I ask them to come out to my car with paper towels and fix that. I would always keep one of these in your car.

It sits squarely on my desk without being too top heavy so I don't worry about it tipping, and the press on lid is very secure. The straw is long enough to stir my sugar-free flavor drops into my water, and it is indeed encouraging me to drink more on a daily basis. Water, that is, not liquor. It's my job that encourages the latter (I kid, I kid). Anyway, you can't really go wrong with this design, I might order a second one in another color and have it engraved. And buy extra silicon straws, this one is pretty sturdy but I'm a straw chewer so who knows how long it'll stand my chompers. (The small bottle boot was purchased separately from Hydroflask.)

The only things I don’t like is the straw sorta wobbles as if it isn’t firmly seated and the bottom of the tumbler doesn’t set down firmly- feels like it could easily tip over. Not a problem in the vehicle cup holder but feels unsteady on a desk or table. I put one of my Hydroflask boots on it and that helped. I like it enough to have purchased the next size up! I work outdoors in Arizona, getting in and out of a truck often. The work truck will accommodate a larger size (which I ended up needing in this summer heat) but my personal vehicle will only fit the 32oz. The 32 oz is the right size for me, anything more would be way too much liquid. I thought it might be a little top heavy, but I haven't had any issues with it tipping over. The lid seals nicely, although I wouldn't trust it to tip over and retain all of the liquid (haven't had to test that yet, fortunately). The straw can be pulled off the cup for easy cleaning and it's a pleasant feel on my mouth and tongue (it's soft, not hard plastic). When I knew it was all good I purchased my All Around Tumbler, 32 oz in a lovely bright blue. I hoped it wouldn’t feel too big or too heavy but it’s just right. The handle is very secure and makes it so much easier to move around the house. Because this is a straw type cup it stays home, so I got the special engraving I always wanted. I purchased extra straws and like that I can customize. I am very happy with the quality of the engraving and the price it’s offered for. I can’t wait to get another piece as soon as I can. We bought this for our daughter for her birthday. She studied many brands of “expensive” water bottles and chose hydro flask. One week of school it slipped out of side pocket of back pack (in the school) and has two very large dents. I have never spent this much money on a water bottle for myself nor anyone else, but this is what she wanted for her birthday. A $45 water bottle should not sustain large dents with one drop, especially indoors. . I contacted hydro flask with situation. They offered for me to send the water bottle back (I pay shipping) and they would send us a $5 coupon to buy another one. What a joke! I will never buy another hydro flask. Do not recommend! Poor quality! DO NOT BUY! Waste of money
