My middle-school daughter frequently takes her lunch to school, including large items, like a vacuum insulated container for soups/wet foods. This lunch box is large enough to accommodate those types of containers, with additional room for other loose items!My daughter reports that her food is still cold even with a late (1pm) lunch. She has taken yogurt to school before, and not hungry enough to eat it. Upon returning home, the yogurt was still cool, which makes me confident that it's OK to place back in the fridge to re-use.Very happy, and my daughter was thrilled that HydroFlask makes a lunch bag now!

This lunch box is great for most purposes, and the isotherm lining is doing a great job at keeping the food cold for a few hours. I find that large lunch containers do have a hard time fitting into the narrow bottom, and the lunch box does become quite unstable afterwards. Easy to clean and does not keep smells in after rinsing, so that’s nice too. Nice quality, but the orange colour is already taking a toll on me. I will probably go for a more standard shape lunch box with a less flashy colour next!

So out of previous bags I've used for lunch this is by far the best one yet! To test how long it kept something cold I put a quart sized sealable bag full of nugget ice and brought to work. My office sits about 75 degrees most of the time maybe hotter depending on the Florida heat. From 6 AM to the time I got home around 5 PM I still had half a bag of ice while the rest melted. This bag definitely keeps my food and cans cold up until I can eat lunch around noon. There is plenty of room inside as well as I fit a can of soda, 2 wraps, 4 hard boiled eggs, bag of chips, and condiments. Another thing I like is the option of 2 handles on how you like to carry around your stuff along with an outside pocket that you can set your car keys in, access card for work entry, or ... It was my own fault for not mapping out the dimensions. If you are the type of individual where you put your meals in a pyrex / tupperware container, it might not be the best lunch bag for you as only the round pyrex containers fit well. My rectangular containers would only fit sideways and I won't always remember to put it 'upright' in those situations.If you're a sandwich person then this is definitely the quality lunch bag for you. I ended up keeping this product as it would be good to store drinks in for short trips.
I love this lunch bag. I mainly use it to hold drinks and snacks for day trips with the kids. The inside zippered pocket is perfect for holding utensils and the outside pocket is great for storing napkins. At first I thought I would prefer the outside pocket to have a zipper as well, but now I'm glad it doesn't. It is deep enough that the napkins don't fall out and with no zipper I can easily reach in with one hand and quickly grab one if I need to. It's also a great place to stuff small random trash that is prone to blowing away when eating outside (straw wrappers, plastic wrapping around beverage tops, etc). I’m an avid user of Hydroflask’s water bottles so I was excited to try out this lunch bag. I got the 5 liter and it’s large enough to fit food for two people. Or maybe food and a drink. Or even just drinks. It’s pretty versatile and I’ve been using it to take to the park for picnics. The bag itself is very lightweight, so it doesn’t add extra lbs when you’re carrying it. Yet it’s sturdy and well made. It has a zippered pocket inside the lid, which I’ve used for ice packs and utensils. There are two handles on the outside. One on top and one on the right side. My only complaint is that I wish there were hooks to add a long strap. I would love to be able to carry this cross body when walking to the park. Otherwise, it’s great and keeps my perishables cold!
This is such a nice bag I just love the color it is quite different not something I would have thought about buying but, now I love this one. I like that the inside of the lid has a compartment where I can put small food items in or a fork, spoon or napkins very convenient. The handle is very sturdy quite thick which makes for ease of carrying and my hand fits nicely inside it. It has a small handle of the side of the bag not sure if I will use it so to me it is something that could have been left off. The inside of the bag is quite roomy so enough space for a lot of food or drinks. I also like the material on the inside of the bag it looks really well made the quality is exceptional. I love this bag will be using it as long as it lasts hopefully a long time.
I absolutely love all of Hydroflasks items, so I was exceptionally excited when I saw they had come out with a lunchbox. I am a teacher and often don’t have time in the morning to find a refrigerator for my lunches. However, with the hydro flask lunchbox I know my food will stay insulated and cold for hours! I love the sleek design with both a top handle, as well as a side handle. The inside lining has a very cute teal color to it and a zipper where you can place a cold pack as well or utensils. The only critic I would give is that the Inner lining could be a bit more durable as it seems it could be easy to rip or tear. However if you are someone who works on the go and doesn’t have access to a refrigerator throughout the day then this lunchbox is perfect for you!
