Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Bottle with Flex Cap 40 oz White

I love Hydro Flasks! My first was a pink 32oz wide mouth. That bottle lasted me years, until I dropped it and it lost its ability to keep my water cold. I then got this 40oz spearmint color in 2020. It is so cute! So many cute colors and sizes to chose from! Keeps my water cold for 1.5 days, if not, longer. I definitely recommend this bottle for anyone who loves taking cold water to the beach, picnics, hiking, hunting, camping, work, etc. Such an amazing product.

I bought these for both my BF and I and am thinking of getting the big papa of them all -the 64 OZ size to have in the suv when we are out and about or on road trips. These are the best container for keeping your liquids cold. I did a test when I bought the first one. Impute ice in it and left it to see how long the ice would stay and then how long the water would stay cold. The nice was still ice after 72 hours sitting on my kitchen counter in AZ in the summer. The water stayed cold for another day. I have several different sizes of the hydroflask and I’ve concluded that the 40oz is perfect for everyday use! My growler is too big and my 21oz is way too small. I love the clean white look however if you are reckless as I am, you’ll probably ding it up pretty quickly which shows sign of wear sooner than you’d hope. Nothing stickers can’t fix lol. Overall a great product, keeps my water cold all day long and one of the perks of buying a highly reputable brand is there is SOOO MANY off brand replacements or upgrades that’ll let you customize your hydroflask to your liking (I just ordered a straw cap and sleeve that’s coming in today). Highly recommend

Bought one of these to hold and keep cold water during a bike ride. It’s an ideal size to share and the wide mouth makes it much easier to clean. For some reason everyone now loves to give this type of water bottles for company branding and I always end up tossing them because they’re annoying to clean. This one both cleaning inside and even pulling the rubber off to clean on the lid are super easy - I always recommend the wide mouth for this reason with whatever brand you’re using. Quality is a little better on hydro flask than the rest when it comes to the metal part.

Did not work for my purpose, it may for yours

I purchased this so I could make coffee at night and have it still be ready in the morning. This is for an off the grid campsite that has minimal electricity.I started out by filling the flask with boiling water at night, then leaving it on the counter overnight. It was warm at best, certainly not "hot coffee" warm. I tried a few other ways to keep it hot, then tried the same process with my old lunch thermos. The thirty year old bottle (major American name, sounds like a hotel in Estes Park) worked better than this one.I gave this one to a friend. I will stay with the hotel sounding vacum bottle.

Great Size

I love the 40oz bottle and even more that Hydro Flask made the bottle taller as opposed to wider like the Yeti bottles. I drink a ton of water and love that these keep the water cold throughout my drinking timeline. The Hydro Flask fits comfortably in my hand with the weight of the water whereas the larger capacity Yetis are a little too wide for my hand to hold comfortably when full. I've only ever put cold drinks in these large bottles and they keep cold for hours. Great product.

Great bottles

This is the fourth Hydroflask bottle I have bought. They come in beautiful colours and many sizes. I bought my first one to use while sailing in hot conditions and it kept my water cold all day long. I bought this size for my fiancé who wanted the biggest one possible. I personally prefer a more small day-to-day size. I love that you can buy spare parts like replacement lids. The only down point I found is that you have to be careful not to drop them on the floor, because it deforms the bottom. Fortunately, I never broke one to the point the water was coming out. It just does not look as good. But I found you can buy a rubber boot to place at the bottom of your bottle that hides the deformed part and mainly protects for futur drops. Overall, great bottles!

Nice bottle, GREAT customer support

I RV full time and needed to coordinate this bottle's delivery at an upcoming campground. I found the color and bottle I wanted and called customer support to ensure the bottle was in stock and could be shipped and arrive at my upcoming campground. The "gearhead" was helpful with specific answers and my entire order arrived as planned. Thanks for the customer support. Oh, and I really like the bottle. My last Yeti (36oz) stopped cooling so I flipped to Hydroflask. I really like this bottle. As a plus, it is slightly smaller around than the Yeti so it fits in the cup holder of my F350 better. Looks like I have converted to Hydroflask!!!

Okay

It's just a regular insulated water bottle. Not sure what I expected. It does a great job of keeping things cold, but it isn't magic. Doesn't seem to be better than any generic version. Also it dents very easily, was hoping it would be more durable. I would say there isn't any reason to get this over another brand, I can't find anything that justifies the price other than the logo.

Terrible packaging! Buyer beware!

I bought two of these hydro flask bottles here. They came in a plastic envelope with no wrapping around them. The bottles must have clunked together during shipping. They were both scratched, and one was even dented! I expect expensive items to be packaged so they do not arrive damaged. When I ordered hydro flasks from other stores they arrived in a box with sufficient protective packaging. I will not be ordering from here again!
