It is a great cup but whoever put it in the box to send it all the way to Texas sent a damaged one. The bottom of it looks like a machine grabbed the bottom on opposite sides snd squeezed or it fell. It doesn't affect the inside but the bottom outside is very obviously dented in two places. Whoever put mybirtjdau gift in the box didn't care enough to look at it. They should have sent another one. I kept it because the hassle of sending back abd waiting was just too much. The cup itself is amazing and I want another one though. Nothing tips out of it. Ingenious design.

I'm obsessed. It's lighter, sleeker, more portable and more efficient than my Stanley. I know it's lighter because i bought this one for my husband after his accident because he couldn't hold the Stanley on his own with his 2 broken wrists. But with the hydrojug he can refill his own water. It's also even easier for him or anyone who may be disabled and struggles with dexterity or lack of limbs, because of the grip on the edges of the lid, he can tuck it under his arm and use his better hand to open it. There are several things that I absolutely love about this tumbler. I adore the colors. I love the fact that it fits in a regular cup holder. And I love that it really is leak proof as long as you have the straw down. The one thing I hate about it and is making me want to return it is the straw mechanism. I hate that the interior straw comes detached from the exterior straw whenever I have ice in the cup and turn the lid to close it after pouring water in. Naturally, when the water hits the ice, it's a bit more stuck in it's place, so trying to rotate the straw/lid without the straw disconnecting from the outer straw is a bit difficult. It's making me batty crazy, which I'm super sad about because I really do love the other features.

The color is so much more beautiful in person. It's the perfect sage green. I've been rocking 32 oz hydro flasks with a flip lid for the last 3 years and this is very comparable when it comes to size and keeping your drink cold. My only gripe is a minor leakage issue. It's not a huge amount but would be just enough to soak your purse or car seat. I've tried screwing it on for left handed and for right handed. I do tighten it a decent amount too. Water finds its way through the threads of the lid so maybe a good rubber gasket right below the lip of the lid would help. This Hydrojug tumbler is amazing. It keeps my water cold all day long and the handle is super comfortable. I also like the lid and the fact that it doesnt spill. It fits into my cars cup holder perfectly, too! I couldn't find this specific hydrojug color anywhere. I actually could barely find hydrojug tumblers at all, until I stumbled across the Bob Wards/ Al's website. They were cheaper than other places, ordering was easy, and shipping was fast. Their customer service is top notch as well. I highly recommend both the hydrojug tumbler and this site.
I do really like the color of the material but I really thought this particular item would be double insulated to be more of a true 24 hour insulated drink. While the ice does last a while it cannot compare to my less than $20 one that does. For that reason I would only recommend this brand when there's a good sale because I expect more than cute colors, 40oz, and a clear lid for this price. It is also not leak proof unless you screw the lid on very tightly which can be an issue for those with arthritis or carpal tunnel. Additionally the material for the lid is soft so it can become permanently dented as mine did during shipping and there should be concerns that they had to create a sleeve to prevent wear on the bottom finish of the cup. I have tried many different brands and styles of cups over the years including Stanley. I don't buy them because of the brand or popularity but for functionality. I am often on a boat all summer, drive long distances, travel often and work full time at a desk. At work cups seem to get tipped over frequently and around papers and computers that's scary. Traveling is hard with a cup that you can't stow in a bag. A handle is a must and fitting well in a cup holder is a necessity. Keeping ice all day is important as I refill it 4-5 times a day... or more. This cup fits all those needs I have and I love it. I hate that it's trendy and popular though. Hard to find and girls have noses in the air over it. That stuff doesn't matter.
I’m obsessed with my new Travelers! I have one with me at ALL times and have recommended them to everyone I know! As a mom and substitute teacher I am always moving. Being able to literally toss my traveler into whatever bag or cart I’m hustling around. Most times it’s dangling on whatever finger I can spare and laid down quickly at wherever the final destination is. No spill, with a handle, rubber bottom, AND a straw is life changing!
