I had been on the fence about buying a percussion massager for sometime. Finally bit the bullet, and man should I have done it sooner. This device has been a god send for my achey and stiff shoulders/back. It has a lot more power than I expected, first of all. There are 3 levels of intensity, and the highest one will blow your mind, haha. It really helps loosen up those stubborn knots. I also like to use this on stiff calves and glutes. Some places you can’t reach on your own, so you will need someone to help you. The different attachments are great. I recommend warming up with the flat piece first and then move on to whatever attachment works best for your problem. The squishy attachment is great for sensitive spots if you do not enjoy deep pressure. The battery charge lasts a while too. I can usually go 2 hours of total use before plugging it in. Its quick to charge as well. The device is a little noisy but nothing crazy. Box it comes in has storage departments. Highly recommend.

Most of the time, I was running it in 5-minute increments, but there were a few times that I had longer massage sessions. The massager comes with multiple attachments. I tested them all out and found that they had very different uses. The fork tool seemed to work best on my leg and back, but it caused too much of a ‘tickle’ effect when used on my foot. The round ball was the best all-around attachment and could be used anywhere effectively. The bullet was perfect for targeting problem areas and was great for ‘hot spots’. This was particularly effective for me on my leg where I have the most issues. The flat head attachment was also great on my back and foot.I had some wonderful success with the Hypervolt. It relieved my pain — even when it was at its peak and I honestly don’t know how I’ve lived this long without it. It’s the perfect addition to my home pain management system. It is expensive, but when you consider that an hour-long massage typically costs between $50-60, the Hypervolt pays for itself in a very short period of time. I can use the Hypervolt on myself if no one else is around, or have someone help me with it. My family members that help me with it - particularly on my back where I can’t reach - say that it’s much easier than doing the massaging with their hands. While the Hypervolt is an investment, it’s a wise investment because of the benefits of it.

Nobody is paying me to write this... it's completely honest. I have a medical condition that causes limb spasticity and a lot of pain that goes along with the cramping. While the pain is generally tolerable, it's always there, and often limits my movement. This massage gun has been a game changer for me. The minute it hits a muscle, I feel that muscle relax and any cramps are alleviated. I can use it myself and get relief and even more so when my husband uses it on me as he can get better angles. I could not recommend the HYPERICE enough. I had originally looked at the much more expensive guns so I'm even happier that I spent a lot less to feel good again.

I bought this about two weeks ago. Used it a few times since I bought it. As other people have said, this thing has virtually no instructions, just comes with 4 attachments that target different areas, and 3 speed settings to give better results for better areas targeted. Would be nice if the manufacturer gave you some indication of how they want their product to be used, but its not hard to learn what your body likes and doesn't like from the different attachments.I suffer from mild sciolosis. It's not so bad that I hunchback or anything, but the curve in my spine is not correct. That causes my neck to also not be aligned properly, and many days I have a stiff back and/or neck. Working out that day I feel fine, but then it feels like someone always kicked my back the next day. I have tried so many things to help alleviate the pain. Massages, foot orthotics, stretching everyday, cracking it, ibuprofen. Everything is always temporary relief. While this machine has not completely healed the soreness, my god is a day where I don't feel sore and tight a blessing. I can turn it all the way up and my lower back is thanking me, almost wishing it had a stronger setting, as it does it's magic, but places like my neck I turn it on low, use the ball massager and gently let it do its thing. 5 minutes using this machine and my body feels great and rejuvenated. Looking forward to when it warms up and I can go for runs outside to see what this machine can do to sore legs. With 4 attachments you will find what attachments targets what areas the best and how your body responds to the vibrations. Truly if you suffer from achy, sore muscles or stiffness and don't want to pay hospital physical therapy or chiropratic bills, this machine will make you feel better. I wish I knew about this product years ago, but I am glad I have it now.
I work out frequently at my home gym, and I also do a lot of yard work almost every day. My muscles are usually tight and sore despite properly stretching before and after each work. When I saw the Hyperice Hypervolt Vibration massager, I was excited to try it out to help alleviate my sore muscles. My friend who frequently visits a chiropractor informed me that they use a similar device for her visits. After a week of using it, I was not disappointed. The Hypervolt is very easy to setup and use. I attached the rechargeable battery to the unit, which came fully charged. Choose the appropriate head and put it on the massager. Note that while pushing the head inside the device, make sure to turn it 1/4 of the way to insert it all the way inside. To change heads, simple pull and turn 1/4 of the way the attached head and insert another head. The only head that does not require turning while pushing is the fork. It includes four different attachment/tips, and each is designed to massage the muscles differently. The flat head attachment is my favorite, and I use it on my denser muscles like the quad and pecks. The softest accessory is the ball head. The bullet head is suitable for any tissue because of it used for trigger points or target a specific area. The fork head attachment is like having two bullet heads side by side, and it is also good for any muscle. The more you use the messaging device, the more you will know your body, and you will figure out what is most effective, what speed and which head to use for each muscle. The control button adjusts the intensity of the message into three variable speed levels. The first level is not highly aggressive, which is good for beginners, smaller muscles or upper body muscles. For the denser muscles like the legs or calf, the second level is more appropriate. The third level is more aggressive which is good for the more bigger muscles (glutes, hips, quads) or to do the most massaging. For the first timers, I recommend beginners to start at the lowest speed level and don't apply a lot of pressure. After you get used to the massager, start adding more pressure and going at a higher as needed, without overdoing it.This massager feels like a premium device, and it is powerful enough without generating a lot of noise. Fully charged, the battery lasts a long time. The carton box is sturdy, and it has a magnetized lid that easily opens and closes. The device will outlive box, and I recommend the manufacturer that future products to include a carry-on case or bag. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the Hypervolt, and I use it often You will glad to have one of this after a long work day or after an intense workout.
The hypervolt is a handheld massaging device that's designed to alleviate tight or cramped muscles and tissues. It's drill-driver like shape gives the impression that it is more designed for one person to use on another though it appears the intent is personal use. The shape and attachments do make reaching just about every muscle on the body relatively easily, though some contortion and practicing in the mirror is required for tough to reach areas like the middle back.Once charged up, you're good to go for about three hours. I doubt anyone will use it continuously for that amount of time but it is good to be able to get several sessions on a single charge. Surprisingly, speed control isn't variable via a twist grip of some sort instead pressing the power button ... I doubt anyone will use it continuously for that amount of time but it is good to be able to get several sessions on a single charge. Surprisingly, speed control isn't variable via a twist grip of some sort instead pressing the power button to cycle through three discrete speeds.I found myself mostly using the ball and small disc attachments. Those allowed the best application of force to muscles on my back and thighs. I'd like something with a smaller point to really get a point deep tissue massage but the barrel and tine type attachments don't quite cut it for me.In all, it's a bit more fun than the contortionist stretching I'd donne previously to try and target muscles using the hard backrest of a couch or foam yoga blocks. It's not a completely quiet running device, honestly about what you'd expect for something that seems to be modeled in part on a drill-driver.
I've tried a LOT of different massage tools, as well as an abundance of stretches and a few painkillers, to try and sort out the mess that is my neck and shoulders. And unfortunately I've never really had the greatest luck with any of them. That said, I'd also never tried one that looked like a piece of construction equipment, so I figured maybe adding some extra horsepower would do the trick. You can imagine my astonishment when this thing's staccato pummeling of the back of the neck introduced me to a brand new sensation: a complete lack of muscle pain! Now, before you immediately rush out and buy one, it didn't last. After doing a little more research to see what had actually just happened, I discovered that this thing basically works on a principle called "gate theory." Basically, it deliberately overstimulates the nerves in the area you apply it to, making you numb to pain. The idea being that while you can't feel the pain, it will be easier for your muscles to relax. After using it fairly regularly for about a week, I have to say that there might indeed be something to this theory. My neck is certainly not fixed, but being able to have an hour or two of relief every day does seem to be making it a bit better. And it's very effective for the primary use it was made for - namely keeping your muscles from cramping up after intense activity. I've been trying my best to prepare for a hike, and I have to say my legs have never felt better for using this a bit before and after each workout. That said, there are definitely a few things that keep it from earning a full five stars. To start - this thing comes with an abundance of different attachments and tips, plus more than enough power to shake your fillings loose. It looks like something you should have a license to use in most states. And yet, there's virtually no instructions on the proper use (or what the various attachments are for) included with the device. There are a few youtube videos (which I had to find myself) which will get you started, but some help from the manufacturer would have been nice. Another thing you'll want to keep in mind is that while it advertises it's great for hikers and the like, the thing is frankly far too big and heavy for me to consider throwing in a pack. Maybe this is wishful thinking, but it really seems more like a device you keep at home than anything else.I personally don't find these to be dealbreakers, but it's something to keep in mind if you're thinking about buying one. It's definitely not the kind of product I'd recommend to just anyone, in fact I know more than one person who would probably seriously hurt themselves with it, but if you're the kind of person who frequently deals with muscle soreness due to working out or engaging in other outdoor adventures it might be worth giving this thing a look. Also, as a word of warning: I'm only half kidding about this thing shaking your fillings loose. Don't do what I did - start somewhere further away from your head until you know what kind of kick it has.

One feature I really like is that it has 4 LED lights that indicate the amount of charge in the battery, which is rated for about 3 hours of continuous use on a full charge. The Hypervolt also has 3 different speed settings, allowing you to adjust the intensity of the massage. It's also light, so you can use it with 1 hand, but has enough mass that you don't feel like you have to push into it to penetrate down to the muscle. So does it work? In a word, yes. Ironically, I broke my hip in a mtb accident almost 2 months ago, and for the first time in my life I just started Physical Therapy. My Physical Therapist uses the Hyperice on during our sessions. He also has the Theragun but prefers the Hyperice as he can converse with his patients while using it!But it's not just my saying I feel good after using it. There are also studies which show the many benefits of Vibration Therapy. In a study called “To Compare the Effect of Vibration Therapy and Massage in Prevention of Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS)” the result was that muscle soreness was reported to be significantly less for the experimental (vibration and massage) group as compared to the control group at 24, 48, and 72 hours of post-exercise.According to an article on Healthline, “When the vibrations are transmitted to your body, they cause your muscles to contract and relax. Certain types of vibrations may also cause your body to produce more osteoblasts. These are cells that produce bone.” Benefits of vibration therapy include an increase in bone density, reduced back pain, improved blood circulation, increase in muscle mass, and more.Even if you're not an elite athlete, if any of those benefits sound good to you, then I recommend that you check out the Hypervice Hypervolt.
I have really enjoyed using this massager! It's very sleek using, and very easy to use.I've never really used anything like this before, so I'm not sure about the size relative to other massagers, but it seems very large and bulky. I have big hands so it's easy enough for me to hold, but the weight and vibration make it slightly uncomfortable after a short-period of time. The battery holds a charge for a very long time. As of writing this I charged it three weeks ago, and have used it 9-10 times for at least 10 minutes (off and on) each time. It appears to still have about half the charge left, so that is extremely impressive. As far as use goes, it's fairly easy to use--there are a couple of "on" switches, which gets a bit confusing, especially the first couple ... It appears to still have about half the charge left, so that is extremely impressive. As far as use goes, it's fairly easy to use--there are a couple of "on" switches, which gets a bit confusing, especially the first couple of times you use it since I found myself forgetting the switch on the bottom a few times. There are three speed settings on the massager itself, as well as four different attachments. The biggest issue I've had is the manual is extremely limited, and recommendations about which attachment to use for which ailment would have been appreciated. As it is I just trial-and-errored my way into figuring out what felt best on my shoulders (I get deep pain and knotted muscles in my shoulders very often)--that is probably the manufacturer's intent, but even that is not clearly stated.Overall it does the job, is very sturdy, and holds a charge for a very long time. Due to the size and weight it's very difficult to describe this as portable, though it would fit into a suitcase without issue--just watch your weight if you're flying. If you work out a lot, or tend to have deep-tissue muscle issues then this a great alternative to massage therapy. It does provide a very deep massage, and the variety of attachments lets you address painful areas in a way of your choosing. The three different speeds also add great variety to insure that it's not too painful or that you cause yourself any kind of injury. If you're searching for a device like this the price is right on this one, and it does the trick on deep muscle pain or after workout massage--I just wish it had more details for people just starting out with something like this (it's an intimidating looking device) and that it wasn't quite so heavy and bulky.
I’m on my feet all day and I usually feel my stress on/near my traps. I got the case too... pricy, sure but my girlfriend has noticed a difference since I’ve started to use it. The biggest thing is SENSITIVITY, I know gf doesn’t like it on above the 1st setting but I can appreciate it up to the 3rd. It is noisy, I use it while watching tv and she has to turn up the volume. I like that it comes with different attachment. Definitely something to CONSIDER. But keep in mind it’s a massager, you’ll still need a a back roller or a person to pop your back, and and second person in general to get areas of your body you can’t reach. The batter lasts a while without charging, everyone who’s tried it had liked it but believe the price is too high.NOTE: The massager will ... Literally a tissue massager.Pick your poison, I know this is one of the brand massagers. I don’t regret it but in my personal opinion $200-$250 is a more reasonable price compared to $300-$350.Also I don’t like you have to buy the caseseparately, there are som instances where you can get it for free with your massager purchase on-line. That’s what I did. Still ended up paying $375 with tax which is basically what the massager cost full price, they gave me the case “for free” when it should come with it in the first place, my opinion atleast, but each to their own.
