This is my first mechanical keyboard and Id like to say they keyboard is pretty nice. The software is terrible. They randomly flick at times and even the keybinds are dumb. Esc turned into my windows key and I always have to reset my PC. It’s dumb. The LEDs are always glitching too. Although I would love to give a good review, the software is absolutely terrible. It breaks down everyday and I would love to return it. Disappointed.2 starts because for red switches, they feel good. The sound is pretty good and I like how this keyboard is small enough for my small desk.

Feels like pc accessories are getting worse every time I decide to either replace what's failed, or occasionally upgrade. These keyboards are worth at most $39.00 bucks. Keyboard keys have broken over time. Keys attach to switch, but the key has no support to besides the switch. Thus, you have keys that wobble and break over time. Today’s market has a never-ending number of choices for mechanical keyboards. Save yourself some money and fork out a little more cash on something that will last. Other poor-quality brands that have attractive packaging (Logitech, Razr, and Corsair) Maybe someday a company will set goals on quality and not quantity.

I paid $20 for this keyboard from the Clarence aisle from my local Walmart and it is so good compared to my old keyboard. Technically my old keyboard ($40) was less than i paid for this one when its at its normal price of $75 but i digress. The software you need to download for this keyboard is ok for what is is, it lets you customize every part of the keyboards lighting, you can also save lighting presets on the keyboard and cycle between them using F1, F2, and F3. The keyboard uses hyper x aqua switches which sound fine for what they are and are NOT HOT-SWAPPABLE. Its Aluminum, has a good weight to it, and uses type C for its connection. Yea that's pretty much it.

Full disclosure first: I only used this keyboard for a few hours before returning it. The keyboard itself has awesome build quality. A full aluminum case makes this thing a tank. I'm not sure why the USB-C connector is on the right, but I don't take any points off of it for that. The aqua switches are awesome and I loved typing on them. I wish the keyboard was hot-swap capable, since I would consider buying one just to harvest the switches off of it. So here's the reason for the four stars, and the reason I returned the keyboard: the software, at the date I used it, was garbage. First off it's a Win10 app available in the Microsoft Store. I narrowed it down since the problem happened shortly after install, and it started off with my monitor having a visible but faint flickering any time the software was pulled up in the foreground. One crash later, and one software uninstall later, and all is good again. I considered just programming the keyboard and uninstalling the software to forget about it, but if I'm going to do that then I might as well just get a GMMK. If you don't care about the software, or if they've fixed the issue I ran into, I would totally recommend this board. The aqua switches alone are worth it.

I prefer tactile switches and my previous main keyboards were the Ducky One 2 SF w/Cherry MX Browns for home and my Razer Blackwidow Lite w/Razer Orange switches for work. I didn't really need another keyboard, but this was on sale for a great price and figured another keyboard wouldn't hurt.The switches, made by Kailh for HyperX, are Aqua tactiles. The linear switches have been a pleasure while typing, with a decent amount of weight to the switch. I found the actuation point to be precise, and even though there is no click or tactile bump, I enjoyed using the aqua switches. The TKL Alloy Origins gives me extra space on my desk while giving me a beautiful show with bright RGB LEDs that are bright.Adorned with an aluminum frame, the Hyper X Alloy Core is both rigid and sturdy. I picked the aqua switches mainly because it's on sale and readily available, but it's a good switch for both typing and gaming. If you prefer linear switches, go with the red HyperX switches but the aqua switches are still a solid option for those preferring tactile. I used linear switches before and tactile may take some time getting used to yet it in the end, it's a satisfying experience. Smooth and comfortable experience with his keyboard. A bit of a calming Click. Very light and satisfying With no aggressiveness. Very responsive and the RGB is bright with a handful of pattern options. Very rigid design, made of high quality aluminum with a smooth Matte finish. Mine has been beaten up for over a year now and has obtained a few scratches and dings from backpacks and dropping it, etc. However, functionality remains perfectly unchanged. Only downside is that the key-switchs are soldered to the PCB and aren't hot swapable. So... Without a Micro soldering kit, a steady hand, and loads of patience, you'll Be using the keys it comes with for it's lifetime. Overall, I see no need to replace the keys because they're great and I love this product.

I got this keyboard as one of my husband’s Christmas gifts and he loves it! His favorite feature is the fully customizable light options. There are a ton! It’s heavy duty which makes me feel like it’s made from quality materials. Another thing he likes is that the letters are not painted on and rather etched into the keys (hope that makes sense), so they won’t fade over time with wear. We’ll see how it holds up but so far so good.
