(93 reviews)

Step into the world of high-end gaming gear with the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Core Wireless. This economical alternative to the original Pulsefire Haste 2 features a familiar symmetrical shape in a lightweight frame with an operating weight of only 70 grams. Powered by a single AAA battery, this mouse can game via a high-speed 2.4GHz connection for up to 100 hours. Or switch to Bluetooth mode for even longer battery life with a reduced polling rate, perfect for casual gaming. Inside you'll find the HyperX Custom Core Sensor, capable of up to 12,000 DPI with a maximum polling rate of 1,000Hz to execute quick actions and smooth sweeping movements. You can also count on the durable and tactile TTC Gold switches to keep you gaming with a lifespan of up to 20 million clicks. Making those movements easier are the low-friction skates that glide across cloth mouse pads with ease. Connecting to HyperX NGENUITY Software unlocks the full potential of the Pulsefire Haste 2 Core Wireless. There you can quickly reassign vital functions and macros to the 6-button interface, set precise DPI levels for pin-point tracking, adjust the polling rate to fine-tune performance, and even customize RGB lighting and effects to fit your unique style. The Pulsefire Haste 2 Core Wireless is also validated to work with NVIDIA Reflex to optimize end-to-end system latency with compatible monitors.

The packaging on this mouse is very discreet. Points for environmental friendliness and thought here! Performance is fantastic. It’s very responsive and glides along with absolute ease. It’s also a good size for my giant hands, and I feel it’d be comfortable enough to fit the needs of most. The only issue I feel others may take note with is that this mouse does not have a rechargeable battery and takes a single AAA. One point lost as in this day and age at a minimum it should be rechargeable. But for the price - you absolutely cannot argue that this a great value.

The HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Mini Wireless Gaming Mouse is the perfect size for someone like me who has small hands. The curve of the mouse feels comfortable for my hand to rest on. In the future, it would be better to update that par to make the whole unboxing experience better. There are 2 connectivity modes that you can switch to by turning the mouse over. You can switch to 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or off. I could not get Bluetooth to pair with my tablet, but it could be that the tablet is old. I did connect with my computer. On my desktop, the mouse connected so fast and easily. It moved quickly and clicked quickly and easy compared to my other mouse. I like how the scroll felt when using it and how it responded to my use. I love the lights changing as I use it. It fits perfectly for smaller hands. It is light and works well for easy and quick clicking and scrolling. Thank you to HyperX and Influenster for letting me try out this awesome gaming mouse.

Excellent lightweight mouse
21 December 2023

Great mouse, super light weight and has an excellent battery life. Also appeiate it having a solid top to prevent dust from entering and anything else making it easier to maintain.Connecting it to your computer couldn't be easier as well with 3 modes to connect it with. Customization with the app is nice too and can be saved to the mouse.Highly recommend it, even if you want a wired mouse the option for wireless is excellent. When it's on sale it's especially worth it.

Good but mine had an issue
30 May 2024

This mouse is a replacement to my HyperX Pulsefire Haste. I got it because the first version of it was really smooth it glided really well and I loved the shape of it as it felt nice in my hand which is the case for this one too. I would have given this a higher rating and I'm assuming it is just my mouse that I got and it must of been an error in the manufacturing but the mouse sometimes gets stuck on the screen meaning sometimes it just randomly stops which is an issue when playing games because it randomly stops when trying to aim at an enemy or something. But apart from that I would recommend it.

Good mouse

Great gaming mouse. I’ve had no issues with this mouse. Good accuracy with good customizable settings, including quick button to change DPI. I was hesitant to buy these because a lot of people complained about accuracy issues. I’ve only used it with the 2.4ghz receiver and have had no issues. I haven’t used it via Bluetooth so I can’t speak to that.I also like the HyperX PC app. Can easily customize and change button settings, RGB colors and other features. It also has really good battery life.

Great mouse with glaring issues
10 May 2023

Everything about the mouse feel is great, but I've had two now and encounted the same issues with both. There is an issue where pressing the middle mouse a few times will stun lock the mouse for a few seconds, there is no fix - resetting mouse setting or reinstalling drivers do not fix. In addition to this issue, the scroll wheel begins to fault so quickly; eventually when you try to scroll up/down it will just stutter in the opposite direction. I thought it was my fault for maybe being rough on the mouse, so i ordered a new one and changed key bindings on games i played to make that middle mouse button/scroll less intense, but i still have issues with it.I love hyperx products and love a wireless mouse, this mouse COULD be 5 stars, but if i have to keep buying a ... MoreEverything about the mouse feel is great, but I've had two now and encounted the same issues with both. I think their wireless products might be low quality cause my new wireless headset was amazing but is now having connectivity issues for no reason. maybe just avoid their wireless products for now.

Worst customer service
21 May 2024

Feels really cheap for the price, randomly disconnects in the middle gaming. Firmware uodate sucks it took multiple times having to reset the mouse just to get it to update. Sometimes the hyperx software wont recognise it and my dpi and color setting goes back to default. Shows up as two devices , one as wired one as wireless and that makes it messier. The shape isn't very comfortable for long term gaming and the really cheap plastic material it's made out of doesn't help. On top of that dealing with customer service to return it is ridiculous. I don't write reviews but this has just been the worst pc related purchase for me, my $15 coolmaster mouse is somehow made out of better material with more comfort and connection. [Rewarded Review] Nice mouse, bad wheel
3 September 2024

Works with HyperX NGenuity software, so no need to download an additional software to customize the extra buttons. Extra functions are fine, everything you'd expect. The durability of the mouse wheel is poor. I bought this in June 2023, and roughly 15 months later, TWO of these have both exhibited the same issue with the mouse wheel going bad, after about the same amount of time. The mouse wheel didn't even get super heavy use, just a few hours a week of general web browsing. The mouse is cheap, but in this case, you get what you pay for.

[Rewarded Review] Very Disappointed

I bought this mouse as an upgrade to my Steelseries Rival 3 mouse. There was nothing wrong with my old mouse, I just wanted a higher DPI for faster movement. I already have a HyperX keyboard I like, so I figured this would be a safe bet. Boy was I wrong!Initially, I loved the feel of the mouse. It was lightweight and had plenty of DPI settings, including custom options. I also loved the grip tape included with the mouse. It made it feel more premium than it was. But then I tried to use the mouse. For some strange reason, it kept losing the position of the mouse. It was almost like I was lifting the mouse and putting it back down. It would lag for a second before the cursor would move again. It would do this constantly at random and it drove me crazy. This seems to be a known issue, but I was unable to find a solution to it online. This purchase soured me on HyperX mice. Disappointing because it felt premium, and had the exact settings I was looking for. Maybe I got a bad mouse, but I'm not willing to give them another chance to find out. I recommend you stick with Steelseries for mice. HyperX does make solid keyboards though.
