i-Vac Steamy Wonder Steam Mop

I bought the "Hoover Steamy Wonder Steam Mop Teal", from the store website. When the package arrived it was not the same as the picture online. My partner had already opened and used the device while I was out, and before I could tell him that I was going consult Godfreys, however the staff at my local store said I couldn't return it because it had been used already. The steam mop that came in the mail said on the box "I-VAC STEAMY WONDER", it looks very similar in design but the brand and colour were completely different, which is why I was confused when it arrived. The actual product itself works ok, its not the greatest of quality, compared to the "shark steam pocket mop" my mum has. I have pet birds and they drop vegetable and fruit pieces on the tile floor during the day and the I-vac steam mop doesn't take it all the dried food off with ease but it does soften the food to where you can scratch it off. I purchased the recommended pads that godfreys offers "HOOVER STEAMY WONDER STEAM MOP PADS 2PK" are a shaggy material. The steam does not pass through the shaggy material very well for a thorough clean I need. The steam mop itself comes with one pad and its not a shaggy material and allows the steam to pass through alot better. Overall, I think if you can go instore and get a demonstration, DO IT! If you have dried up bird poop and food on the floor I'd say do not get this product. Since the purchase, the original advertisement is gone but there is now a advertisement for the one I'vac steam mop.

The I-Vac is light and easy to use. It does an excellent job on my hardwood floors in the kitchen and tiled bathroom, just so practical. I can’t believe I didn’t buy one sooner. It makes traditional mopping with bucket of water and detergent look like cleaning from the dark ages, in fact it most likely is. I’d recommend the I-vac steamer floor cleaner to everyone. The fabric mop heads that you attach to the end of the I-Vac are also easy to take on and off. I use a separate one for kitchen then a new, clean one for the bathroom. After I’ve finished with them I throw them in the washing machine and set to short (15min), warm wash then hang on clothes line to dry. It is so easy ♥️

Great mop works well & easy to use. However the mop pads need to have draw cord around edges or elastic as they dont attach well. Dont buy the replacement pads as they are the same. Look for the ones with the draw cord around then for a snug fit that works better.
