The series impresses with a range of innovative features that enable a great sound and pleasant handling. Construction and soundDue to its grand dreadnought design, the AAD50-TCB has a particularly large body, which produces a very assertive sound thanks to its voluminous resonance body. This is enriched by its sapele body and a clear note with warm basses and mids and by the Sitka spruce top and brilliant trebles. The X-M bracing used here ensures excellent vibration behaviour. HandlingThe okoume neck with Purpleheart fingerboard sits extremely well in the hand and, with its 43 mm nut width, meets all the requirements for flatpicking and strumming. The tortoise pickguard also prevents material damage when playing picks. In addition to the pleasant playability, the guitar is equipped with other features for comfortable handling. For example, the Ibanez Advantage bridge pins used here make it easier to change strings. They have a stopper that makes it easier to remove and insert them. In addition, the effective die-cast mechanisms guarantee high tuning stability.
