Taking adaptability to new extremes, the Ibanez AZ24S1F Standard 6-String Right-Handed Electric Guitar in Transparent Black Sunburst has established itself and carved out a place that spans everything from the warmest blues licks, to the most intense, shred-heavy metal riffs. Carrying this ethos forward, the AZ line embodies time-tested Ibanez innovation and player-focused features like a smooth, oval neck grip, a well-balanced asymmetrical body shape, and the neck heel allowing for unrivaled playability. The Roasted Maple neck is heat-treated to increase stability, durability, moisture resistance and tolerance of temperature changes. Jatoba has a reddish brown color and produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end. Stainless steel frets boast excellent corrosion resistance. The wide and tall fret-type offers a quick response and effortless articulation when playing chords and clear tone when playing single notes. The Flamed Maple top displays a beautiful wood grain. The Alder body delivers a well-balanced bright tone, enriched resonance and sustain. Ibanez Modern Custom pickups embrace a dual humbucker configuration with alnico V magnets. It has a powerful tone and quick response, which especially matches up well with an overdriven sound setting. The T106 tremolo bridge with 6 independent saddles makes precise height and intonation adjustment of each string easy. The dyna-MIX10 offers ten sound variations and can easily switch from humbucker and single coil modes with the mini switch. The power Tap mode provides a realistic single coil sound despite its two humbucker pickup layout. The Super All Access Neck Joint increases playability and allows for easy access to the higher frets.
