Ibanez Q54 BKF Electric Guitar w/Bag - Black Flat

I could only hear the surf waves with a drum beat calling my name when I saw this beauty!But that wasn’t the case! This Ibanez Jen sounds amazing for Jazz and Metal which took standards to a whole new level!

This plays, sounds and feels like a guitar worth a lot more.

Overall very good fit and finish. Mine did have some fret buzz in one small spot on the fretboard. But, its a very light, well-balanced guitar that is comfortable to play. Neck is not as thin as I expected, but it's not chunky by any means.Pickups are on the hot side and are very warm in tone. The switching is very flexible and will give you configurations that can sound like not just a typical HSS guitar, but some HH and even Tele tones too.

My son has this model and I've played it. It is easy to play and sounds awesome! I like the shape and build of the neck. It allows your hand and fingers to move quickly and accurately. The fit and finish is impeccable. Quality throughout the finishing and component choices. My son and I can play anything on this guitar. It accepts and plays through every type of pedal we attached to it. It is very hard to put down! Ibanez really delivered on this guitar!!!

Ibanez headless is an amazing instrument. Action is so low with zero fret buzz, it weighs nothing, sound is amazing and it's so ergonomic. If you're looking for a headless guitar I can wholly recommend this one - it's a dream to play.

The Most Comfortable and Versatile I've Played

I waited quite a while for these to be in-stock. A black Q54 was my first choice, but the blue Q52 became available first. I've had the Q52 for nine months and the black Q54 arrived last week. Both guitars are well made, extremely comfortable to play, and as airplane overhead friendly as any travel marketed instrument, but without the compromises to comfort or pickup selection. The Dyna-Mix feature is also a plus giving both guitars more options than standard switching. For the Q52 the useful adds are single coil, Strat two pickup, and Tele two pickup. For the Q54 the alternate option gives you a reasonable neck humbucker and it also adds the Tele two pickup tone. Given all the useful features of Dyna-Mix I suggest you give the stock pickups some time to grow on ... MoreI waited quite a while for these to be in-stock. I am liking the stock pickups quite a bit and I "thought" I was not a fan of ceramic magnets... For travel a Mustang Micro and a Bluetooth speaker with a 3.5mm input makes a gig bag pocket friendly guitar amp louder than any acoustic guitar and great for playing for friends. The Ibanez gig bag is reasonable 10mm closed cell foam protection and a bit oversized. I've found another bag I like better with 25mm foam and a perfect fit to an Ibanez Quest (I bought two of them). I've been gigging since last March with a Quest and very few people identify that there is something different about this guitar. Given the small places my duo sometimes gigs, the headless design is a real plus. I am liking the looks of both, but the black Q54 is my favorite.
