The Ibanez GIO GRG120QASP is a rare find. Where many similar-class guitars might compromise on looks, tone, or playability in order to cut costs, the GRG120QASP is an axe that keeps on giving. One look at its eye-popping quilted maple Art Grain top, plus one spin up and down its satiny high-performance neck with bound purpleheart fingerboard, and you'll be a believer. It all starts with a lightweight, resonant poplar body for a solid tonal foundation and comfort in the hand. The GRG120QASP comes loaded with a set of Infinity R humbuckers to deliver a range of fierce, high-output tones, along with a smooth-playing neck that lends itself to fast action. Engage in serious dive-bombing and other whammy acrobatics onstage with the GRG120QASP's T102 tremolo. Or, just soak in its flawless polyurethane finish while it's slung on a stand in your home studio. Burgeoning rockers and technical players who are searching for a quality electric guitar owe it to themselves to plug in with the Ibanez GIO GRG120QASP.

Fantastic value and super fun

I have been playing guitar for 27 years and have several high end guitars (Les Paul, Strat, Tele) and just wanted something fun to "shred" on for jamming and practicing. This guitar is that and much much more. While it is definitely not a high end guitar it will blow you away for the money. I would highly recommend it! It is also a beautiful guitar!

Great Guitar! My parents brought this as late christmas gift for me. The tone, playability, and pickup switches sounds clean! It is also lightweight which I like. Whammy bar also works great too! I'm so glad I have this guitar and I really love it!

Great axe: serious tone with a entry-level instrument

I was really surprised when I got this bass. The overall quality exceeded my expectations. For less than 200 euros you could take a serious tool, which can be used without worries in professional situations: the tool is comparable to the same axes which costs about 500 € more or less.At this price, the only downsides are:- factory ropes: they don't go so well, please change it as soon as possible- Pickup, very loudly: I strongly advise you to turn it down a lot (especially in part G)

Great little Bass
31 August 2020

I am astounded with the build quality. The fretboard is rounded, no sharp or sticky-out fret-ends, the finish is great - satin, open-pore, walnut stained mahogany. Don't know if this is all of them, but mine has some pretty awsome flaming in the maple neck, cutting across the grain. Makes the scarf joint stand out a bit though as the headstock maple is devoid of flaming. Tuners and controls work well and it stay's in tune no problem. The truss-rod needed adjusting, just a half turn out to release some tension and let the neck arc a little bit more, but once done (easy enough as there are good instructions and allen keys included) this Bass plays great with very little/no fret buzz at all.If this was a more expensive instrument I would have a couple of gripes, one ... MoreI am astounded with the build quality. The black chrome on the bridge is pretty dull in some areas - a small gripe. The bigger issue is also with the bridge (or could be the neck alignment) and is the fact that the strings are not aligned with the neck. At the nut this is ok but as the strings run down the neck the E string is perfectly parallel with the neck edge, about 3mm all the way up to fret 22, while the G string starts at about 3mm and gradually goes up to a little over 5mm at fret 22.Overall a great, lightweight, Bass, with a great sound (albeit for a shorty).

Great little bass
11 October 2021

I am a guitar player and wanted to learn guitar bass; this bass is perfect for transitioning from guitar; it look really good and looks like a more expensive bass; considering that is a short scale bass the sound is really good, love it so far; time will tell but so far I am really happy with this item and would recommend it to anyone.

Great value piece of kit
13 May 2020

I wanted to try a short scale bass - I have small hands and wanted to see how much more comfortable it would make things. This bass was low enough cost that it was worth the gamble. Turns out that it's great and really good value. The the finishing is pretty low cost with no lacquer or polishing to push the price up. The hardware however is pretty decent where it counts. Nice solid tuners and decent pickups. One volume pot for each pick up. Tone control could be better but I was mainly going to leave it cranked right up and use eq on my amp. Will need some tweakign - as delivered - slapping the e-string tends to make it contact the poles on the neck pickup making a shorting sound - but should be able to reach a compromise by dropping the pickup down slightly without ... MoreI wanted to try a short scale bass - I have small hands and wanted to see how much more comfortable it would make things. Happy with my first bass
24 January 2021

This is my first bass, I'm just learning and have nothing to compare it to, but I could not be happier with it. I wanted to learn bass for some time and initially considered Yamaha TRBX174 and Ibanez GSR200. Then I found out that full scale basses can be hard to fret since with 34" scale length fret spacing is quite long, and there are short scale basses that don't have this problem, making them easier to learn. Ibanez GSRM29 was my first choice. I also considered Fender Squier Mini Precision (but it only has one pickup while Ibanez has two) and Cort Action Junior (also just one pickup and scale is 30" instead of 28.6" on Ibanez and Squier), but ultimately settled for Ibanez.

I love Bass!
28 July 2022

Looking for a smaller size Bass for practice, I did usual online research and came up with the Ibanez miKro. Everywhere I looked was temp out of stock, then I came across your online store. Not only did you have the Bass, it was also the cheapest online. Purchased product but their was a delay at customs, for a few weeks. However, the wait was well worth it. Fantastic bit of kit. The bass feels solid and looks great. Due to its size being smaller it Is very manageable, if using for practice at home in a small studio. Plays really well and sounds lovely. Just to add. Your customer service was brilliant during the Customs delay. Always kept me updated on it's progress. Thank you.

I wasn't SUPER impressed.
17 January 2023

I have had this guitar for about a year and it came in great condition, no complaints about that. But since then it's really started to break down on me. The pickups are fine tone wise, but the knobs give me fuzz whenever I turn them, and the input jack is screwed. I don't understand how it got this way cause I have been very gently with it. The reviews everywhere on this guitar were kind of deceiving cause all of them said it was a nice solid durable guitar. If you're wanting a guitar that will last, I wouldn't go for this one.

Stunning Value For Money
3 April 2021

For the price tag of £155, this bass is stunning value for money. The sound, playability, looks are fantastic and even the build quality is excellent. Definitely worth considering instead of a Squire or an Epiphone equivalent. The scale is ultra short and it's weight is ultra light, so I can play for hours with my small hands and dodgy shoulder. I'm totally happy and impressed by this bass! :0)
