I've owned the Quantum I in two different colours and used them for running, mtn biking, under denim jackets as streetwear, and just to lounge around the house in. They always fit great and still looked nearly new after a few years' wear, washing, and (gasp!) drying. In fact, I'd still be wearting those two hoodies if I hadn't gone from a size L down to a M. The Quantum III's updated chest pocket, two-way zipper, and this gorgeous nightshade colourway with yellow zipper and logo detail have me in love all over again. The fit is still bang-on and I've already gotten a dozen compliments on it in the few weeks I've had it. And those other two size L Quantum I's? They're still being worn by friends who I've gifted the hoodies to. Would buy again (again)!

I love Icebreaker merino wear. I've bought and gifted many items over the years. Unfortunately, the brand's quality has ebbed and flowed. This year's hoodie, while it thankfully is back to 100% wool unlike the blend of a couple years ago, had a couple extra problems. First, the zipper is too tight, stiff, and cheap for the quality of the wool. It is incredibly hard to line it up, zip and unzip it quickly. It's finicky. I don't know if it's just mine or if it's the full series for this year, but I would advise decisionmakers not to take short cuts with the zipper. We need something solid, smooth, fluid, and durable.Second, the white sewn-in "icebreaker" brand name on the left sleeve dramatically reduced the value of this black hoodie for me. I am unable to unzip the hoodie to take it off. It is a huge bummer and major disappointment for the price you pay. The initial experience talking with the customer rep was incredibly frustrating. I've never experience more dismissive and outright rude customer help.There's a way though to submit a claim for refund, which worked for me after further research.Overall experience from Icebreaker left a bitter taste.I would not recommend this product due to poor quality and rude customer rep experience. Might be a one off, but it was my first and a last one.

Pounced on this during the last 50% off Flash Sale, as I already had this in a different colour. Warm and cozy in the winter, breathable in warmer weather. Takes a handful of wears before any odour starts to accumulate, and even the black colour holds up pretty well over time. I would recommend going a size up for a close but flattering fit, two sizes up for something more loose, and your true size for something more snug and tight. The fabric stretches pretty easily (without sagging) so you'll probably end up with something that works well, even if you grab the wrong size.
I bought this after slim tops/shirts, but even though this hoodie is also labelled as "slim fit" it is not the same shape as the slim tops like the short and long sleeve shirts I already have. The size M shirts are comfortably slightly loose around the shoulders and ribs, narrower on the waist for slim men like me.Meanwhile this size M hoodie is too tight around the ribs but very loose around the waist, the complete opposite of the slim size M shirts. This hoodie does not have the slim "V" body shape that the slim shirts have.
Great quality as I would expect from Icebreaker. This is the 4 th hoodie from Icebreaker that I have owned. All previous designs have been of different weights and apart from the elbow on all of them you wouldn't know they were 5 years old.I find that this design I had to go to a medium from a small. It feels im just in the middle of the two. As I've not gained any weight. All previous purchases were in Vancouver and Montréal so maybe it's an EU size change.I really like the double zip. No problems here. Great when sat down as theses hoodies are long, so I hope they keep that feature.I would have liked a version shorter in the body, so as not to hang out of an average jacket, but overall l like.
Absolutely love the Hoodie. I have a few of the previous Hoodies for women but bought this one as I really liked the colour. It is a slightly longer fit on me but that's actually quite nice for autumn/ winter. These hoodies are just perfect as they can be worn on so many occasions. Love the fact that icebreaker doesn't plaster their logo across the front or back, but discreetly on the arm!
This newest version is thinner than previous versions, with a much thinner/finer zipper. Compared to all the others Ive owned, this does not feel like its going to stand up to any wear or abuse.In just the first couple of times ive worn it, the zipper has gotten stuck or mis-alligned right at the base. And that zipper is small enough that it feels like if you use any force it will be permanently damagedthe thinness of the material is also a new direction, and not one im thrilled with. The new thin fabric makes the cuffs feel like heavy add ons at the end of the sleeves, rather than one cohesive designThe quantum hoody was my favorite piece of clothing - during Covid I was wearing one nearly every day. Got this on sale but it's worth the full price. Nice heft to this without being heavy/bulky. Fits really well - Medium fit me as a fit 5'10" 175 lber - good shoulder space tapered down to a fit waist.Double zipper stuck on first attempt but now is very smooth. Still, this product does not need the double zipper so it's a bit of an irritant despite working fine...for a double zipper.Arms are a great length and fit well with the thumb loops. I can even fold up the cuffs to get that extra length out of the way and the sleeves lay smooth on my arms then.Color is vibrant without being obnoxious. I've gotten a lot of compliments.I'd buy this again.
