Icebreaker Tech Top Long Sleeve Crewe (Men's) Black / L
Set yourself up with next-to-skin warmth and breathability with the Icebreaker Men's Bodyfit 260 Midweight Tech Top Crewe. Made from 260 midweight merino wool, this top's warm enough to keep you insulated when you're deep in the backcountry cutting trail at high elevations, but it breathes well enough that it won't cause overheating when you're hitting chairlift laps. Merino wool's natural properties control odor and wick away sweat, keeping you dry and feeling fresh whether it's first chair or last call. Offset seams on the shoulders prevent pack rub, and flatlock seams do their best to relieve you of any chafing or irritation from abrasive edges.

My last icebreaker purchase was a sweater 12 years ago. I have used it every year skiing and also for mountain walking in the summer. It has never lost its shape, is always warm when you need it to be but never too warm when you don't want it to be.Having switched to a policy of 'quality not quantity' recently with all my clothes, I decided the best clothes to buy that last the longest and keep you warm, fit well and never smell (merino wool) are from icebreaker. I purchased 2 long sleeve tops and a t-shirt. They are all really good quality. My only complaint is that the t-shirt runs big (5'10 12.5st athletic build) and so I have to send it back for a medium. Otherwise really happy overall.

Well, this is the second one for me and after I got the first one I tried my luck buying a cheaper one from an online store named after the biggest river in the world; big mistake!I guess you get what you pay for: it was itchy, staticky and very unpleasean to wear, unlike like the original ones. I`m prettys sure it was a fake...Well, the one I got from Altitude Sports is well worth the price and actually it wasn`t too expensive because I got it on sale. For my purpose (cycling, hiking and skiing) I also tried the UnderArmour base-layer but it`s not even close; it gets stinky real fast and when you sweat it keeps you cold...that is when you don`t want cold!I can`t recommend highly enough the merino wool for outdoor physical activities; awesome stuff!

Icebreaker products are great at the best of times. But this top , and I own quite a few of these. They are perfect for sporting activities. Yet classy enough to wear under a sport coat. The black is classic. I wish they still made the dark green color though. This is the best piece of clothing for temperatures control. I highly recommend it

I first bought an Icebreaker base layer when I lived in Australia. I have used it for hiking, climbing, running, sleeping, glacier travel, working and everything else imaginable! It is a part of your skin. You transform into a sheep and are able to withstand any fluctuations in weather. But in all seriousness, the material is truly amazing. It keeps me at just the right temperature all the time. I don't smell and most of all, it looks great! It becomes the only thing you will be able to wear :)
I recently bought a few, long sleeve crew necks for casual and base layering. This particular model is a true mid weight for those colder days. It fits snug not to loose at all (i'm athletic skinny build 5"11 150lbs) its soft to the touch and they have some nice colors. The only worry is the crew cut dips down more than the others so ill have to see how that fares in comparison, i dont know if i would use it for everyday use, for its style.
My first outing in my Icebreaker's and we got caught in some really bad weather in the mountains near Glencoe. They stood up to the test perfectly. I stayed warm throughout, even after the sleet penetrated my waterproofs! I'm quite slim and find the fit a little looser than expected from a small, but this didn't cause any issues. They're not a cheap item, but they're the best on the market so well worth it.
I've been wearing Icebreaker socks and long sleeved shirts to work for almost 2 years now. They are warm in the winter, I rarely need more than one layer of the heavyweight shirt, except on the coldest days, to be comfortable in my equipment. In the summer, their lightweight shirts help me stay comfortable in the heat. I look for natural fabrics for comfort, and safety, for work, which these are, so I'm definitely going to continue wearingIcebreaker products. I do wish their woman's shirt sizes ran larger, and were 100% merino like the men's.
I'm a big fan of these. I have a few of the 150s and 260s. These were originally the Bodyfit line from Icebreaker. I went with my usual size and given that it’s a base layer it has a slimmer fit. Unlike the 200 weight, which I find has a very tight fit and is constricting, this and the 150s are more of a ‘looser stretchy’ type of bodyfit. This 260 weight is a perfect base layer that keeps you warm and toasty in colder conditions and the shirt, temperature permitting, is nice to be worn on its own.
I use Tech Top LS since four years and I can state without any doubt that this is the best garment of this kind. Among a wide rage of merino products now available on the market, icebreaker stays over: very comfortable and durable high quality garments. Fabric, shape and color are stable in time through wearing and washing.Cool design and clever construction make Icebreaker garments versatile for Sport and outdoors activity as well as stylish urban environment. Absolutely a brand to fall in love with.
Used my Icebreaker Long Sleeve Crewe top on a Winter overnight in the Adirondacks this past weekend. After hiking up to camp, summiting a 4627' peak, and the rush back to camp; my baselayer proved to be worth its weight. During the easier effort of the decent, my usually damp back, where my pack meets my lower-back, was dry as rice. This was a great choice, I had planned to sleep in this top and did not want to sleep in a wet shirt. The quick drying and temperature regulating properties of this shirt blew my expectations out of the water.
