Male sizing a bit limited. As 5ft 6 slim male, the women's medium fits like a glove.Great experience with the baselayer (and ended up buying a second one).Initially wore 1 baselayer for 6 days skiing and only towards last 2 days became slightly worse to wear (Even then, nothing like a day after a synthetic baselayer)I've found the sweet spot would be 3 days skiing per baselayer.

I have bought this top to wear when skiing but it is far more useful than that; I have already worn it numerous times under other jumpers because it is so light, warm and cosy. It doesn't feel itchy next to my skin and can be worn on numerous occasions because it doesn't smell. So far I haven't had to wash it, I've just laid it over a chair to air after having worn it. I wish it was cheaper because I would buy many more!

So comfy!Fits perfectly with just enough room for airflow.I've been using it for walking in the UK in temps of up to -5 in readiness for using abroad in Nepal later this year.

I have been wearing this shirt while walking the West Highland Way in August , and it's great: not too hot or too cold, very comfortable and has a great fit. It has flat seams which is handy.Cons: the side seam had an itchy label sewn in which I had to cut off and pull out - it would be good to dispense with sewn in care labels in trekking clothing in the future. The colour way is quite limited: I bought the fuchsia pink purely because it was on sale (even though I already have two Icebreaker shirts in the same colour). Please make more 100% merino shirts in less girly colours, eg chocolate brown, navy, grey, dark green, burnt orange, periwinkle blue etc.
Very disappointed. Very thin fabric compared to previous and has torn after two wears and ruffles up won't hang straight down which is unacceptable for the cost. Used to love Icebreaker tees but no longer buy.
Warmest most comfortable thermal tops and bottoms around. They make the coldest crispest winter nights stargazing out of doors comfortable and breathable. While everyone else is stomping around complaining and feeling the cold, I'm smiling: thank you, Icebreaker Oasis ... in my life since 2006! :)
I wesr this top as a base layer undr a thicker jumper everyday and also as a smart work top under a jacket. It's beautifully finished, fits verybwell and good length to tuck in, long enough sleeves, very comfortable with under arm gussets, retains no body odour, crease free, washes easily and needs no ironing! Ideal!
So I've enjoyed ice breaker products in the past, and wear their base layers, underwear, work out gear, cycling jerseys (so sad they don't make them any more!), And sometimes some casual wear. I love wearing the soft wool. While teaching during covid-times we have the windows all open and the doors open whenever we have to be inside, and then we are encouraged to be outside as much as possible. These base layers are my not-so-secret trick to staying comfy! Cycle commuting to and from work, teaching PE in the gym, running laps of the field in the pouring rain with the kids, walking around my class with the windows open after getting sweaty and steamy-wet outside, then hopping online to meet with parents and administrators or having in-person meetings... Cycle commuting to and from work, teaching PE in the gym, running laps of the field in the pouring rain with the kids, walking around my class with the windows open after getting sweaty and steamy-wet outside, then hopping online to meet with parents and administrators or having in-person meetings... I feel the right temperature with just a sweater on top and a (rain coat!), no chilly gaps at my (long) waist or wrists, it's a modest fit, not super tight and no scoopy neck that lets in drafts and views of my chest, and I feel that I look professional in that sporty-casual west coast way. I ordered three smalls, each in a different colour, and don't have to think about what to wear three days a week!
I'm a uk size 10 and I have this in a size xs- it's a pretty close fit, so great for a traditional base layer. I find it really warm, but I don't overheat in it. I wear it under shirts and dresses in winter, when I need some extra warmth. I'd like it in a larger size too to be able to wear as a top, not just a base layer. I have it in a darkish blue/grey with thin pink stripes - I don't think that colourway is still available, but it's a lovely colour combo.
I bought this top to wear as a first layer, paired with Icebreaker's Merino 200 Oasis thermal leggings. The items are so cosy, they have become my new winter sleeping choice! The top is soft, silky smooth and very comfortable. The neckline is high enough to keep the upper body warm. I am 5'2" and 135 lbs and ordered a size Medium for a perfect close to the body fit. Following the suggested washing instructions, the product washed beautifully with no shrinkage.
